Common Market Eggless Egg Salad on a Rudi's English Muffin for breakfast...
Lunch was at Normandie Farm. My 'Roasted Vegetable Salad' $12.25 with Balsamic Vinaigrette was really great (even the Beets), but I picked up a strong buttery sensation halfway through. Hope I was wrong about that....
This restaurant is a sentimental favorite for many people in the area. If you're non-vegan, they have huge Popovers....
Boca Burgers & Oven Fries for dinner...
No dessert. The end.

Egglessness. Breakfast of champions.
Looks like you and the Moms had the place to yourselves there! Those look like real beets-aka 1000xs better than canned. I can't imagine any cook using butter in a salad-maybe they just waved a stick over your salad to test your delicate palate.....
Those dinner tomatoes look great for off season ones.

I like the "Laterrrrrr" sign off, somehow i doubt this is really the end....;)

That veg salad looks really good - I wouldn't worry about the butter taste. It was probably just olive oil. Hope that restaurant got more patrons before you guys left! And, I can see you like your tomato slices on the thick side, eh?

Ah yes, Normandie Farm! It sounds like a great salad, and hopefully they didn't throw in any butter. Beautiful dining room.

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, you ever eat something prepared by a stranger that tastes just a little 'too good'? This place is heavily into the butter and cream. It was a cheapo Mexican Tomato. Pretty, but tasteless. No one will be more surprised than I am when the end to this blog comes;-)

Blessed Mama, I hope you're right about the butter taste. I sliced the Tomato thick to try and use it up in two slices as it had been sitting around a couple weeks.

Ingrid, you and your Grandma would have a lovely time at Normandie Farm. It's very warm and enveloping. Sort of like the old Evans Farm Inn, which I'm sure she remembers fondly.

That salad looks absolutely delicious! Usually butter leaves a bit of a glow on the food you are eating, it was probably olive oil. It looks like a really great mixture of veggies though!
