Tuesday, November 5th

I risked disturbing my co-workers this morning with this crunchy Apple for breakfast. They didn't seem to notice...
Callaloo, Chana Masala, Sesame Grilled Tofu and some really bad looking Lentils that tasted really great off WF's Hot Bar for lunch today...
Someone brought in leftover Halloween treats to the office...
I finally found a Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute at WF's today for $19.95. Unfortunately, I still have the Gardein Holiday Roast (not so great) to get through. Had a slab of the Gardein tonight with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Roasted Cauliflower for dinner...
Wholly Wholesome Dairy Free Pumpkin Pie for dessert. So far I've consumed half the pie myself. Even though I can't get a good picture of it, I highly recommend this pie...
Back to cereal and sandwiches tomorrow...

I know I'm not supposed to heat up stinky food in the office, didn't know I had to worry about crunchy fruit too. :(

I think lentils are one of those items that always look worse than they taste. Glad to know the hot bar was veg-friendly today.

I wish they'd offer a mini version of the pie, as otherwise I would eat the whole thing in a week! Ha!

Apple eating is nothing in the offensive office food world....! That lunch looks great with the beans and greens- and i'm impressed by the callaloo, did it taste much different from kale or collards?
Sounds like you have some good stuffed roasts meals ahead! Does WF ever have those on the hot bar? Or is it just meat-r-us?

We were disappointed in the Gardein roast, too. Which one is your favorite?

Lentils always look like slop to me, but I love them.

I think today's pie pic looks great!! Definitely made me crave some pumpkin pie so it did it's job ;) I never would think to be concerned about crunchy fruit. They are a lot of things that are far more offensive than a delicious crispy apple. Bummer about the Gardein Roast. I have found that Gardein products are very hit or miss. There are some I love and some that are pretty gross. At least you found the better roast to look forward to!

Have you had Gone Pie's pumpkin pie? I can't get past it. Or the pecan...

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, my co-workers are within several feet of me and the acoustics really carry sound.

Ingrid, as Pies go, the Wholly Wholesome Pie is kinda small, but I agree, they should make a Pie-For-One for those of us that are alone in the eating duties.

Nikki, the Pie tastes a lot better than it looks.

Unknown, the Callaloo was very tasty, but tougher than Collards/Kale. It was a chore to get it all down. Occasionally, WF's will put leftover Gardein Stuffed Roasts (the little ones) on the hot bar, but very rarely.

RVs, I like the Cranberry Hazelnut Field Roast En Croute, but I haven't tried this 2013 one yet, so who knows? Maybe they changed the recipe or something. I'll keep you informed.

Sarah, I'm surprised that I'm not enjoying the Gardein Roast so much. It has a chemical taste or something and the stuffing is really bad. I am actually considering wasting food rather than eating it.

Abby Bean, I just looked at Gone Pie's site. $34 for the Pecan Pie...$42/treat of the month plan..is it worth it? I know FF has indulged in the past, but as much as I'm dying to try their stuff, the prices are very rich.
