Saturday, November 9th

Breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien. 'Tofu Scrambler' $9.95 with a side of Avocado $3.95. They really gave me a big portion, which pleased me but also made me too full for lunch...
Dinner carried out from Hempen Hill BBQ. 'Smoked Tofu' $14.59 Smoked Tofu with Bell Peppers, Carrots, Onions and Broccoli on Rice Noodles in a Spicy Thai Peanut-Chili Sauce. Nice level of spiciness and sweetness...
Another slice of Wholly Wholesome Pumpkin Pie for dessert. Their website appears to now be defunct. I hope they didn't go out of business now that they finally got my seal of approval..
100% guaranteed great grub on the agenda for tomorrow.

The dinner noodles look delicious. Extra elegant with the black sesame seeds sprinkled on too.

I hope they didn't go out of business, I have yet to try it!

That does look like a generous plate of scramble- and the gorgeous thick bread there too....
I'm giggling that you got dinner from a bbq place! I love smoked tofu so that meal sounds amazing- and it's really pretty too. I'm sure the vegan pie gods will take care of you this holiday season- i just realized you're missing the whipped cream though! Or some vanilla ice cream.....

I'm in total agreement with my fellow commenters, those noodles look lovely and delicious! Your tofu scrambles always make me happy too and that avocado is such a great addition. The bread looks perfectly crusty too.

Hopefully the website is just down for maintenance! I'm going to WFs tomorrow I'll have to see what the pie situation is there ;)

That would probably be my most ideal breakfast. You seem very vegetable-y lately. I can't remember if I loved the pumpkin pie or not. I love pumpkin pie so much, I'm a little picky about it. I will try them again to see. I know I don't love Whole Foods pumpkin pies.

I'd definitely order that dinner if I saw it on a menu. It sounds fantastic.

Avocado is always a great addition to so many things. I've never thought of putting it on scramble.

Another delicious brunch from LPQ! I certainly didn't know a BBQ joint could have such delicious veg friendly options. Yum!

Native Foods had pumpkin pie slices in their dessert case, think I might pick up one soon. . .

Dinner looks delicious. I think sweet & spicy noodles might be one of my most favorite things to eat. And pumpkin pie... yum.

I'm often too full for lunch or dinner, but I have to have all three meals, even if they're itty-bitty. It just doesn't feel right otherwise.

Maybe they pulled their website in a fit of sober angst like you did with your photo.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, the Black Sesame Seeds really tie the dish together, don't they? Don't think it's possible to get burned out on Pumpkin Pie.

VGG, I just checked and the Wholly Wholesome website is still down. Bad business. Kinda like a blogger not blogging for a week...

Unknown, I think the wife of the BBQ place owner is vegan or something like that. They really make great Salads as well. Gotta show my $upport for the vegan options. Oooh! Whipped Cream! I need to get some. You are right as always!

Sarah, looks like your WFs has extra stuff that mine doesn't. That 'Whole Vegan Turkey' is still preying on my mind. So odd....

Jenny, I have indeed become very vegetable-y lately. I'd eat even more vegetables, but I am still very Potatoe-y and Bread-y from force of habit. I just wish WFs would stock some vegan Pumpkin Pies up here already. Are they available in Tampa?

RVs, dunno if your personal vegan chef is able to cook during his convalescence, but I highly recommend Avocado on Tofu Scramble.

Ingrid, totally agree that it is very strange that a BBQ joint has vegan options. Even stranger that they're in an empty strip mall in Hagerstown, Maryland. But, dang! they're so good with the vegan options.

Nikki, I especially love Asian Noodles with Peanut Sauce and chopped Scallions on top.

Blessed Mama, it is often a psychological battle for me to avoid eating when I'm still full from a prior meal. Doesn't help matters when there is blog content involved, but I think I more than make up for any missed meals over the long haul.

Hannah, thank you for making total sense as to why the Pie Site is down. Those poor bakers!
