Monday, October 31st

A Veggie Tuna Sub $4.29 and a Bragg's Cider Drink (another VaVa rec)$2.29 for lunch .
Boca Chikn Patties and the last of the Pea Shoots with Goddess Dressing for dinner. Things have been so stressful, a simple dinner was all I could handle.
Plum Pie for dessert.
Pics of the pups enjoying the snow on Saturday. I believe the pics look dark because I had to shield the camera from the snow.
This little guy was excited to find a banana peel from the compost pile.
This gal was thinking how just last week we had the air conditioning on.
I didn't get to the interesting extra stuff again. More importantly, will I ever catch up with everyone's blogs?

Wow, you got a lot of snow! Craziness.

I'm glad your power is back on, but sorry to hear things have been stressful.

So happy to see you arrive on my dashboard today! I had the thought that either a)the storm took over your house or b)surprise Halloween getaway, created by the mister. Basically, you had both! A technological getaway created by the storm.

Remy likes a good frolick in the snow, looks like yours do as well!

Sending warm and restful thoughts your way! :)

I missed you Shen!

The snow looks so lovely. I wish we had some of that here right now. My dogs love it. They have short legs and long fur, so they always come into the house with tons of mini snow balls stuck on the insides of their legs when we have snow. You dogs look cute in it.
Sorry about the stressing out though :(

How is that apple cider drink?

Whew! I was worried that mofo was your undoing. Welcome back!

Yay so glad you are back! I was concerned I know that it would take something big for you to miss posting and I'm glad that it was technological and that everything is ok otherwise. Bummer about no power though :( Glad you liked the grape leaves (from the other post)! Do you feel any positive effects from the cider vinegar? The pups are gorgeous as usual!

That is seriously way more snow than I expected you to have gotten! Glad everything's sort of back to normal now and that the pups loved it.

That's so crazy with the snow! Love the pup pics, looks like a good time was had by all.

The pie is such a pretty color.

Wow!! That is a lot of snow. We had a little snow today, but nothing like what you received. All your pictures of food look very tasty. I especially love your cute dogs:) Have a great week.

Hey Now!!!!

Rachel, the Cider Drink was not what I was expecting. Granted, I didn't shake it up like I was supposed to, but it was no Kombucha. Can't give it a rec at this time.

Molly, the weather people totally failed on their predictions for the snow. We got unexpectedly hammered.

Ingrid, the forced technological getaway was interesting. Like the olden days with candles and crossword puzzles. Thanks for the much-needed well wishes.

Isotope (see, I'm feeling better already), growing up, I had a longhaired dog that would get the under-carriage snowballs. I'd 'crush' all the balls when she came inside. The Cider Drink may be one of those 'acquired tastes'.

Stacy, thanks to MoFo, it was a comfort knowing I wasn't leaving the vegan blogging community high and dry with my outtage.

VaVa, Mofo 2010 was what got me started posting daily. Haven't been able to stop since. So, I wasn't a weirdo daily poster before...Yes, love the grape leaves! (and I'm not sure what effects I felt from the vinegar. A tingly sensation all over, perhaps?)

FF, glad you weren't impacted. Apparently, folks in Connecticut got the brunt of the heavy snow.

Rose, well, I did try to make the best of the situation;-)

Michelle2, this MoFo was a MoFo! (If I may say so).

Nicola, I couldnt get a decent 'pups in the snow' pic to save my life. Not sure how you get those action shots.

Susan, on the bright side, you should get some really great peaches.

Deb, arent you in ski country?! Why does Virginia have more snow than Utah? Not fun or funny.

Ahhh I only just now realized that you got the cider drink and not a bottle of vinegar to mix with water. If I remember correctly the drink has juice, apple cider vinegar and possibly some added sugar? That may be why you didn't feel anything?

OMG. i can't believe you got snow already!! i am dreading that day over here in IL.

as for the whole power fiasco. i feel for you...i can't imagine time without the access to Internet & technology. although, i am fond enough of books i think i'd get by.

anyway, glad it's back on!

The apple cider vinegar drink sounds much better than drinking straight vinegar or mixed with something. I'm glad I didn't check out your blog the day you missed, or I would have thought you were in the hospital or something. Weird for me to think about people getting snow in October. We usually don't get it until January but some years December.
