Unfortunately, my streak of mediocre meals continued through lunch. The Spud Ole (Baked Potato with Veggie Chili) from McAlister's Deli. $6.79.
The mediocrity ended with an above average dinner: Seitan with Heinz-57 and Mac & Cheese from Roots Market. (I'm sure I was supposed to use the broiler to heat the Mac & Cheese, but broiling is not my bag).
Still half a container of the Mac & Cheese left to not broil.
A Mexican Hot Chocolate Snickerdoodle with Peanut Butter for dessert.
Tomorrow: Mexican Grub.

Wait wait wait your post summation has thrown me off! Do you really think about what type you're going to get for lunch the next day? I mean, I plan my meals, but only because I have leftovers! Do you really anticipate wanting Mexican food tomorrow? What if the place is closed? Or what if you get a craving for Indian? Would you still find a way to eat Mexican because you told us you'd eat Mexican? OMG I'm in such a weird state of anxiety right now. I can't wait to see what you eat tomorrow.
Omg that Mac and cheese!!!! Yum!!! And yay for the snickerdoodle! ;) now I want Mexican for lunch tomorrow! Not only can you anticipate your cravings but now you are influencing mine! Ha!
This is not witty, but I am curious: is Roots Market a chain in your area?
ZZzzzzzzz....sorry.
Bummer it was mediocre, but I like the way the potato is totally acting as a bowl...and the jalapenos on top really round it off visually.
Dinner does sound good...so it sounds like Roots Market got the Mac and Cheese right. It's cool they have so much vegan stuff.
I'm glad your supper made up for your lunch. I used to eat those spuds with chili a lot when we first moved to our town. Regarding what Maud said, I always do think you do a good job of mixing up the leftovers. I couldn't post what I ate everyday since I eat the exact replica often two days in a row.
Hey Now!!!!
FF, pretty hilarious comment. Kudos. Keep it up and I may be tempted to buy a 'zine one day.
VaVa, I should have specified that Mexican was an appointment, but somewhat of a craving as well I suppose.
Stacy, zzzzzzzz...huh? Oh, uh, yeah. It's a chain of two stores. G'nite.
Rose, aren't you a dreamy princess now? 'Roots' is like a mini-Whole Foods with some stuff that's really super cool.
Jenny, pulleeeze! Don't even go there! And by 'there' you know exactly where.
