Lunch was Spinach with lots of heavy water-laden toppings from Wegman's Salad Bar. Goddess Dressing and
Fresh Gourmet Croutons added at home.
Wegman's Grilled Tofu with Wild Rice and Chard for dinner.A Mexican Hot Chocolate Snickerdoodle for dessert.
Well, at least Iran let those two hikers go free.

Water-heavy vegetables are good for you! I guess just expensive by the pound.
Is yr sign-off referring to the Wall Street protests? Is there noise down in DC? Things have been pretty frustrating around here, what with cops thinking they own the place.
Your meals look all yummy and healthy! The salad looks nice and fresh and hopefully the little germ factories didn't get to those veggies. I don't really see many kids running around the Whole Foods I go to so maybe I'll hope for the best? Yay for the cookie! :)
Are those the snickerdoodles that Sarah sent you?
The grilled tofu looks delish!
The return of the chard! I have to say that is my least favorite green, and I'm amazed at how you let it sit by your other deliciousness.
I am catching up, and I did take time to watch your DWTS reference.
That salad is calling to me. Too bad that the veggies were water heavy, but it still looks good!
Hey Now!!!! Five comments! I can handle this.
FF, no, my sign-off was in reference to the two American hikers captured in Iran when they 'accidentally' crossed the border from Turkey. They were just released. I don't know what Wall Street protests you're referring to. The whole world doesn't revolve around NYC ya know.
VaVa, wow! You're so lucky your WFs isn't full of kids. Mine might as well be a daycare center run amok. I should start documenting the mothers who bring their kids in just to feed them the 'free samples'. (Dibs on that idea!) Don't even get me started on Trader Joe's with their f*ckin balloons and 'find the monkey' bullsh*t.
Michelle2, the MHC Snickerdoodle recipe is way more complex than I like to tackle. I have four or five of VaVa's cookies left.
Jessica, I am aware that Collards and Black-Eyed Peas are your usual fare. You are such a nice young lady. Kudos to your Mother for raising you right.
Molly, the Salad Bar at Wegmans is not economically friendly to consumers, but that's why the Wegman family is incredibly wealthy and opening stores left and right. Charging what the market will bear.
