Sunday, September 18th

Behind all those Fries (which I ate), is The Ultimate Vegetable Wrap - Hummus, Roasted Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Carrots, Spinach and Shaved Red Onions in a Tortilla Wrap $7.99 enjoyed at The Main Cup.
Field Roast Celebration Roast with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Steamed Baby Broccoli for dinner.
A Sticky Fingers Brownie with Almond Dream Vanilla for dessert.
So is everyone else just lovin this article? B*tch eats at Pure Food & Wine AND picks up Alec Baldwin at the same time.

Just shaking my head as I read that article - too much! He loves it, loves the attention.

I'm with Sarah, the wrap (and fries) are very appealing. How do you enjoy your fries? Au natural? Ketchup and hot sauce?

Batch? Botch? What are you trying to say there? Butch?

I have *got* to try Field Roast ASAP. Despite my pooh-pooing of the past, I have inexplicably converted to loving fake meats. Inexplicable. I can't explain it. I love them now. And Alec Baldwin is *fifty-three*! Oh god, how time flies. So super nice that they met in a vegan restaurant though.

Love and all kinds of wonderful things happen in vegan restaurants.

That wrap looks delicious! Why o why can't there be restaurants where I live that serve food like that? Maybe I should relocate to your neck of the woods orrrr NYC! :o)

It would be great if Alec Baldwin went vegan...or maybe he is? Sounds like his girlfriend might be, since she's into yoga and stuff. I think he's an older looking 53 though.

Those fries and wrap look so good.

Another Sunday patio lunch! Love it!

I'm a little jealous of your baby broccoli. I wanted some but my store was out. Looks great with the gravy!

I like the wrap, and I am trying to eat less chips, in fact I only eat them very rarely, if I start I cannot stop!! :-)

Hey Now!!!!!

VaVa, don't play all innocent with me! I was only a wedding photog's assistant briefly, but long enough to know what happens when those 'best men' spot the lone gal hauling the umbrellas and klieg lights.

Ingrid, these were some outstanding Fries --fresh, plump, not too much Salt. I dabble in the Ketchup, I am not afraid admit it.

FF, pipe down! I'm trying to keep it classy here at The Shenandoah Vegan!

Zoa, what the ding dong?! You of all people starting to like faux meats???? Let's hope this means you'll be introducing us to some exciting new Seitan recipes not those Canadian President's Choice things.

Jenny, I will agree with you just so you don't start bawling uncontrollably like some humongous pregnant lady with three kids already.

Michelle2, if you haven't left the sticks by now, I'm thinking it's never gonna happen. At least you are no longer under that rock.

Rose, I am pretty sure Alec is vegetarian. Hey, who am I to begrudge him his happiness with a 25-year-old yoga instructor. It's her I hate. Not him.

Jessica, dining Al Fresco is the best because the only nuisance are the bees. Indoors, you've got all the flies to deal with.

Alessandra, I believe "Chips" is the international word for 'Fries'. Like 'Biscuits' instead of 'Cookies'. Time for the world to catch up with the correct lingo.
