There are not a lot of vegan options at Maggiano's to say the least. I had the House Salad $2 (with coupon) to start...
and the Angel Hair Pasta with Olive Oil $12.95 (that price includes another Pasta dish to take home, but I let my Mother take it).
It was a massive portion with tons leftover, so this was my opportunity to try Blessed Mama's Pasta with Sauteed Veggies or Blessed Mama's Leftover Pasta Delight. I think I went with the Pasta with Sauteed Veggies. Mushrooms, Onions, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Spinach were my Veggies of choice. Left out the five cloves of Garlic. Green Olive Spread on the Bread.
I bought one of these Chocolate Creme Filled Cupcakes about a month ago, and finally tried half of it tonight
and it was a million times better than any Cupcake I've ever had in my life. Bar none.
Horrible name. Horrible logo. Fantastic product. Stock up now before the name & logo puts the company out of business.

Wow you really made that pasta into something awesome! It looks like a beautiful dish! I've seen those cupcakes before but always thought they looked kinda dense and not appetizing but I may have to rethink that now. maybe I'll check it out for a special occasion.
Lunch with Momma? You better be careful letting out such personal details. Maggiano's is the perfect Italian-American chain - double entrees and low prices! You really did it right at home, though.
I'm amazed Moo-Cluck couldn't be bothered to spell out chocolate. Be sure not to look at their website - it's worse!
The pasta you made at home looks much better! That was sweet of you to let your mother take the other pasta dish home. lol at what Jessica said. :o) I made veggie pasta too...I actually blogged about it earlier.
Dang that cupcake does look good! It looks a lot like those hostess cupcakes that I used to eat all the time when I was a kid. yeah...they could have done a lot better with the name and logo for sure!
Have a great 3 day weekend!
Sun dried tomatoes are one of my favorite things with pasta.
That cupcake looks sooooo good! I want one. Now!
Moo-Cluck---where do you find all this stuff? Agreed on the logo and the name, but it does look like a most delicious cupcake.
Your rendition of the pasta is 100x better than Maggianos. Looks good!
Hey Now!!!!
VaVa, I don't believe the cupcakes are gluten free so don't do it to yourself!
Jessica, good catch on the 'Choc.'. Why go to the trouble to start a vegan baking business and then create such a horrific label? People are so weird.
Michelle2, it is a totally VEGAN Hostess cupcake. Hope you can find them 'down there'.
Molly, Sun-Dried Tomatoes rule!
Rose, what can we do to save the 'Moo-Cluck' company? They have great cupcakes, but they're their own worst enemy when it come to marketing!
