...as well as a basket of Garlic Knots (made without butter upon request).
$5.95 for an extremely generous (not massive) portion of Penne with Broccoli. Garlic galore. Blessed Mama would be in paradise.
That's it. Too stuffed for dinner or dessert. Yes, always room for (previously Red Wine, but now) Vodka.

The garlic knots look glorious! Nice big ol' salad and the pasta looks yummy! There is definitely always room for vodka!
That salad looks great for just coming with the meal. The knots too! Vodka seems a bit incongruous after that Italian food, but what do I know. Plus, I guess there's no food that actually "goes" with vodka. Borscht, maybe?
You must travel a lot! You're always eating in so many different areas... do you have a favorite place in D.C.?
Good if they always give salads :-). Garlic is good too, Pasta and broccoli WITH tomato... not really an Italian thing though... :-O!

I love when salad is served family-style. All of it looks really tasty.
Hey Now!!!!
VaVa, the knots are 'knot' gluten free. For that I am sorry.
FF, this was Italian food in West Virginia. Great as it was, Tequila would've probably paired better with it if you want to get all technical and sh*t.
Rachel, I'm not a big fan of the District. I'll just say Cafe Green. If you can recommened somewhere better, I'm open.
Alessandra, l hear ya on the Broccoli & Tomato Pasta not being truly Italian.
Rose, it really was pretty darn good. A ton of grub for $5.95!
Oh my....those garlic knots look amazing! And, that Penne with Broccoli...Blessed Mama isn't the only one that would be in paradise!!!
Those garlic knots are making my mouth water! They don't have those in the midwest and I forgot to get some when I was in NY last weekend.
