Friday, September 30th

I took the day off work and also drank a bottle of soaked Chia Seeds. I live to tell. Might be an acquired taste.
Toffuti Cream Cheese with Olives on a Wegman's Everything Bagel for lunch.
Leftover Stroganoff & Roasted Green Beans for dinner.
Pretty great grub today. Plus the Green Beans were nutritious.

I agree, definitely a great food day! Jealous of your bagel, I miss them! THe chia drink sounds interesting, I think I'll have to check it out...even though I'm still too agraid to try the kombucha :X And now I'm had it so long it'll probably explode when I open it!

Weird, right?!? I didn't know if I should chew or sip. I had the raspberry flavor, though. Are you going to keep trying to acquire the taste?

I don't think I could handle that drink. I love chia pudding. But I'm really weird about my drinks. It's water, oj, and red juices for me. Smoothies are the craziest thing I drink. I tried kombucha once and almost spit it out. Or maybe I did; I can't remember.

Yeeeaaaah. . .I'll leave the chia beverage to you. But bravo to you for trying it!

I'm a fan of onion bagels with tofutti and cucumbers. Sometimes add a little tomato and sprouts!

Glad you had the day off! I'm so happy it's the weekend!

There are a lot of exclamation points in this comment!

Yeah, I'd have to get used to the seeds in the drink too...or at least I think so.

Your eats look great!

I think I would pass on the chia drink. Sounds too much like grape tapioca to me.
Somehow I inferred that you were ill (home from work + drinking grape chia?!?). If so, feel better.

All looks very yummy. Well, maybe not the juice... I have been eating a lot of green beans living with my mom the past few months. They're her favorite vegetable, and she just keeps buying them. The Crumbcake looks especially good; I'm very fond of crumby desserts.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, the Chia Seed drink might be good when you're just killing time. It is not designed for thirst quenching. When you finally do get aroudn to opening your Kombucha, do so away from your face.

FF, yikes! Raspberry flavor??? I'd have to ease into that one slowly.

Jenny, I think there are better ways to get your daily Chia Seed quota. The pasteurization process probably kills whatever Omega-3s were there to begin with.

Ingrid, Cucumbers sound like an excellent addition to the Bagel & Tofutti Cream Cheese Combo.

Rose, stick with your exquisite gourmet cuisine. Leave the food-on-a-dare stuff to the professionals.

Stacey, indeed, Tapioca is what came to mind whilst imbibing. I was fighting a cold or something yesterday, and the Chia drink did not help. The Vodka finally chased it away.

Miss Rachel, I suppose your Mom's love of Green Beans isn't so bad. My Mother loves Eggplant. So gross.
