I never see plain Tofurky hot dogs, do you? They look like they'd be a much better texture than the stupid tofu pups.
Now you are just teasing me with that hummus on english muffin lunch ;) Looks so good!
Your "Shen Sandwich" looks very tasty. I love roasted red pepper hummus!!
Hahaha! I love how you named it the "Shen Sandwich"! Well. i think that is a perfect meal/snack. Quick, easy, healthy, YUMMY1 By golly, it's Shen-tastic! LOL
I very rarely eat vegetarian sausages and things like that, but I keep seeing them in blog from the US and UK, so I guess that it is a very Anglo-Saxon thing. I rather eat beans or tofu. Do you eat much tofu?

i love the little sandwich bagel. i think the roasted red pepper hummus from whole foods is simply amazing!!
The side of olives really makes that a Shen Sandwich. That, and the double openfacedness.
Hey Now!!!!
FF, when I go to Wegman's this weekend, I will keep an eye out for Tofurky dogs. I usually just buy the least expensive.
VaVa, it really is good. You get that English Muffin and toasty...mmmmm!
Deb & Morgan, I'm thinking of calling it a Shenwich...Still pondering....
Alessandra, i love the convenience of vegan faux meats as well as supporting the industry. Tofu, Tempeh & Seitan are all great.
Kimberly, it's definitely great now that WFs has lowered their prices on their own Hummus.
Jessica open-faced sandwiches last longer dont ya know!
