Thursday, June 16th

Lunch was steamed Vegetables & spicy Tofu from Whole Foods. I knew I had a huge dinner coming...

Mr. SV had business in Newark and brought back Vegan subs from Capriotti's! (These were expensive subs. Mr. SV was en route home and in Maryland by the time he realized he had left the two 10" subs in his hotel fridge. He turned back to get them and had to pay a toll three times -- each way crossing in and out and in to the state. They were worth it).

Too stuffed for dessert again. Three Wishes Cabernet Sauvignon.

What fun! Subs from out of town...and going back and forth for them...now that's determination! Capriotti's must be sort of a famous place; it's great they have veggie meats for the subs...looks tasty.

The spicy tofu and broccoli looks yummy too. Seeing what you eat every day...I have to say, it's consistently yummy looking.

Love the steamed veggies & spicy tofu from Whole Foods. Wow, Mr. SV had quite the adventure with your dinner subs-they look really yummy, so I can see why he went back for them.

Ooooh special subs! Look and sound yummy! And that tofu with steamed veggies is right up my alley! I had that for dinner last night before I went to see Bridemaids with my friend :)

That does look pretty good, evidently I have a several friends who like it too (when I clicked on the link their faces popped up!).

I don't know about the extended drive to go back and them. That's dedication. Tell Mr SV good job.

How sweet of Mr. SV to turn around and go back. I don't think my hubby would have done that. The subs do look good though, and I'm glad they were worth the 3 tolls. :o)

Hey Now!!!!

Rose, sure wish you would post your meals more often.

VF, the subs totally were worth returning for.

Dianne, Capriotti's did a great job wrapping everything up separately so as not to get soggy.

Deb, I think Mr. SV felt it would be preferable to go back for the subs than to live with the fallout of forgetting them.

VaVa, isn't Bridesmaids great? I'm so glad you got to enjoy it too.

Jessica, which pic is your friend? The lady putting the rolls in the oven?

Michelle2, I'm sure you are a lot more understanding when Tony forgets something than I am when Mr. SV forgets.

Sara, it's the eternal question - to turn back or not? Plus this was the beginning of rush hour.
