I Loves Me The Faux Me*t

Lunch was the Veggie Burger platter at The Parkway Deli. That's a little cup of Guac in the bottom right..
Dinner was Martha Stewart's Easiest Indian Stew using leftover PF Changs Rice. Spinach and Tofurky Italian Sausage mixed in. This is my favorite way to use up leftover rice.
Dessert was a Rice Dream Mocha Pie...
Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot...

That is DEFINITELY not enough guac for me. I hope it was good.

Woo hoo, look at the steam in your middle photo! I love it when I can capture that. And, you and I both thought of ways to use up our leftovers. I'm feeling so much closer to you each day... We love those vegan version of It's Its, too! Am I dating myself, or did you have those in your high school, too?

I have a hard time with faux me*t, which is certainly not a criticism of you or any other person who enjoys it. Your blog is always fascinating to me because you eat some things I'm pretty squeamish about. It took courage for me to try the Gardein chicken, for instance, and I doubt I will again. I can almost guarantee I'll never eat a vegan sausage unless it's one I've made myself. Even though I've seen the ingredient list and there's nothing in there I wouldn't cook with. Even though I'm basically planning to eat a dried bark-and-lily bulb soup for supper tonight. Oh, well, different strokes. Your salads, on the other hand, always look scrumptious to me and make me feel I ought to get out more.

Those fries look great. I love thin, crispy fries like that. I'll have to check out Martha's recipe, too, we always have Tofurkey Italian on hand.

Hello, Ladies!!!

Rice Dream Pies are nothing to be sneezed at.

FF, Martha has yet to disappoint me either.

Blessed Mama, It's Its? Is that a frozen ice cream sandwich? If so, no, you are not dating yourself as they are probably after my time.

Morgan, you're the one the got me OFF the TJ's Soy Creamy and into Purely Decadent!!! PD is more expensive but worth the money! Gaaaahhh!!!

Zoa, I get squeamish looking at my blog as well. I'm working very hard to achieve the culinary aesthetic that so many other bloggers (i.e., yourself, Rose etc) represent.

Jessica, I always stock up on the Italian Tofurky at TJ's;-)
