Brown Friday

So life and blogging goes on, even when it all feels pointless and/or you feel disgusting. You (or I) do it anyway just in case one day it starts to feel fun/or you (or I) feel good again.."Fried Chicken" at Sunflower for lunch...
along with Mizunai Sansai Soba Noodles (Sauteed Soy Gluten, Wood Ear Mushrooms, Japanese Parsley, Bracken and Vegetables, tossed with Seacress (Green Nori Flake-Gomashio)).
The perfect dinner: PB & Crackers.
Several Stoli on the rocks...

The food looks awesome...and I must say, I'm intrigued with the bracken in your soba salad...what is it? Do tell.

The stoli sounds like a good way to go...sorry you feel a little down, or that's sort of what it sounds like.

The PB and cracker photo isn't loading for me, but if it's PB and saltines: yum, that's a fav combo of mine from childhood...thanks for reminding me.

I hope you have a good holiday weekend, and that you don't feel down!

Shen, i feel down sometimes too. especially after holidays. thats probably what you are feeling also. its good that you remeber that not all days you feel bad and that good things are going to happen again. people dont leave comments and follow you "just because" theres a REASON! i think it might be cuz we like ya and what you have to say.

Hey, what's wrong with my sweet S.V.???? You wouldn't know it, but I checked several times for a post on Thanksgiving from you. See, we care. It's this darn anonymity. Don't be blue.

Man, doing this every day does start to feel weird. But you know, I always look to see what you're eating (no pressure!).

Brown Friday looks better than it sounds, and much better than Black Friday. I really like the soba dish- that's some good eating!

Sorry you aren't feeling 100%. Everything looks delicious! I really enjoy reading all your posts. As simple as peanut butter on crackers is, it sure is yummy! I hope you had a fun Thanksgiving:)

Hello, Ladies & Germ!!!

I didn't mean to sound 'blue' as much as convey to the internet how I'm having a mental breakdown. T'giving broke me physically and mentally.

It won. I lost.

Rose, I was wondering the same thing -- what the heck is this 'bracken' that I'm supposedly eating? The crackers were similar to saltines and the holiday weekend is going by faster than the first hour of work on Monday will go by. You know how that is.

I will catch up with everyone's blogs when I can completely wriggle free of my strait jacket.

Everything you ate sounds good. I think I am going to have pb and crackers tonight myself...don't feel like cooking and just made myself blog...ha I know how you feel....that's why I have missed several days and have been MIA reading everyones blog. I have been so busy and just haven't had time. Then I would get stressed when I thought about needing to blog and stressed that I hadn't read anyones blog. Sometimes you just have to take a break.
I also love looking to see what you ate for the day.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend! Just take a break and chill... :o)

Do you need to take a blogging vacation for a week or two? We'll all be here waiting for you when you get back. It's strange how you can start to really like people without knowing much at all about them. Your blog is different than anyone else's, and I never miss a post. I NEED to have these communications with like-minded people, or I would probably become depressed.
