When Summer and Fall Cuisine Collide

A big salad with lots of stuff in it from Whole Food's for lunch...
Vegan Crab Cakes and Corn-On-The-Cob for dinner...
The Crab Cakes were okay, but I wouldn't buy them again.
Pumpkin Pie for dessert...
Hard to go wrong here...
A bottle of Lost Vineyards Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon...

Bummer on the crab cakes. The Chesapeake tempeh cakes from Vegan Brunch were one of my first vegan recipes; I need to try those again. But I think the pumpkin pie makes up for it!

Vegan Crab cakes always irritate me. They're SO FREAKIN fattening; yet disappointing and not at all satisfying. I'll take my calories and fat in the form of chocolate, thanks :)
