Lunch was lots of Taboulleh, Quinoa, Artichokes, Mushrooms and Tofu off WF's salad bar.
Dinner was Curry Supreme from Sunflower...This was the first part of three. The portion was massive.
I didn't expect my Saffron flower to still be around when I came home from work today, but au contraire! not only was it around, there was another blossom! It is a miracle.
Lots of Frontera Carmenere was enjoyed.

You have a saffron flower! Wow, it's so beautiful. I won't even ask how something that looks like a crocus blooms in the fall.
Those salad bar lunches look incredible, every day.
Dang SV,
Your food always looks so tasty...I couldn't blog everyday cuz the food I eat doesn't look so good every day.
That's so neat about the saffron, I hope it keeps coming up.
I didn't realize saffron was different from crocuses! It's so beautiful!
Whenever I go to the Whole Foods bar (basically never) it doesn't seem as exciting as what you get. I should pay closer attention!
I love massive take out or restaurant portions - but I don't know I've ever stretched it into three meals.
I also love how the saffron brings out your French.
lol...I haven't been cryogenically frozen for the last 20 years, just lived under a rock for all that time. Hey, at least you are opening my eyes to all these new things. :o)
BTW...the food looks awesome!
I'm lovin the saffron...hopefully they will continue to come up!
Hello, Ladies!!!
Zoa, the fall-blooming croci blew my mind as well.
Rose, yeah right. I'm sure all your meals look like they came out of Gourmet magazine.
Dianne, if I lived in NYC, I wouldn't waste my time at Whole Foods either.
Jessica & Michelle, thanks! I'll keep posting on the Saffron status.
when you do harvest the saffron, is their anything that you do to it special? dry it, or freeze it? those are REALLY pretty flowers!also what part do you keep...and may i suggest a mini-tutorial??:) you know you love my suggestions:)
