Clare and Don's and Tempeh

Lunch was at Clare and Don's Beach Shack, where I caught a great buzz off a $7 Painkiller...
Clare and Don's can veganize most things on their vegetarian menu, so Mr. SV & I shared some Fried Dill Pickle Chips. Perfectly light. Super Dilly.
Mr. SV's Blackened Tofu Sandwich...
My Fried Tofu...It's not often a vegan can get some good fried food, so kudos to the fry chef.
Our beloved Teddy was bummed she didn't get to go with us, pups are allowed at the restaurant!
Dinner was Tempeh and Mashed Sweet Potatoes. A refined drizzle of Fry Sauce tied it all together.
A Luscious Lemon Bar for dessert.
A bottle of Lost Vineyards Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon.

I think I want one of those painkillers...and fried dill pickle chips? I have to try those...all the fried stuff looks good.

Your dinner is elegant indeed...I finally tried some fry sauce over a baked potato...it really has the Midas touch.

Sad puppy face is sad, but adorable.

What is this? Do mine eyes see a beautifully plated and presented tempeh meal? What a great photograph, S.V.! You're growing up right before my eyes...sniff.

Hello, Ladies!!!!

I'm trying harder to make the pics more worthy of your time browsing my blog. It helps to dine Al Fresco.

I was thinking you must have been outside for lunch. The blackened tofu looks good, but then again so does the fried tofu, and the tempeh back home. What a great day!
