Wednesday, April 29th

This NYC Bagel was utterly incredible. Now that I have experienced real Bagels, there is no turning back...
Native Food's African Peanut Soup (with a piece of Wegmans Marble Rye, just like they do in Africa) for lunch. This Soup greatly exceeded my expectations..
Was planning to continue to ween myself off Artichokes, then read about hot new item, ARTY Water...I still need my Cynarin...
these Nakd Bars are perfect for a light dessert...taste like sugar, but without the sugar...
More great eats tomorrow. Bye for now.

Haha, yes, very traditional marbled rye pairing there with the African soup. I've always wanted to make that Sweet potato peanut soup but was so anti-PB. Now that I've lightened up on that maybe I will make it.
I've heard about that artichoke water! It sounds kinda horrible to me, but I'll let you let us know...
Nice dessert, it's true. I think I might eat a mango if my stomach is feeling ok.

Great food day! I'm done with hot soup until october at least, but i love making those variations of african peanut soup- with the bread is a great idea, i bet that was a good combo together.
I'm gonna let you try that artichoke water first....! Dunno about that. That looks like a nakd bar flavor larabar doesn't make! Were there really crunchy bits in there?

Hope you had some of the amazing sunshine we got today, it was tragic to be cooped inside working! Its always lambrusco season for me :)

Bagel, Peanut Soup, artichokes - it sounds like a tasty day!

How are your chickens enjoying spring? Out and about?

That soup looks amazing! I love African peanut soup, I will have to try it with marbled rye, ha ha. I never heard of Arty water. I love artichokes, but artichoke water?? I don't know.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, what is wrong with your stomach? The homemade Granola too rich?

Unknown, I, too, am passing on the Artichoke Water till further notice. The Nakd Bar did taste really like Apple pie. No crunchy bits that I noticed, but still good for keeping me away from other sweets. I assume you work in a skyscraper where windows cant be opened. I hope you are at least near a window.

Ingrid, the Chickens were out all day Tuesday and Wednesday, Devouring Apples and taking dirt baths in the sun. Rain today though.

VP, I agree, Artichoke Water doesnt appeal to me. They are adding Agave Nectar to help it go down.
