Wednesday, April 22nd

Beets, Carrot, Celery, Parsley, Lemon and Ginger for breakfast. Must have been really nutritious cuz it took almost an hour to imbibe...
Another winner for lunch...
the 2015 haul of Morels...
and a hitchhiker that rode in on one. Literally as big as a Ladybug, so it was fortunate to be spotted and safely returned to the wild before it was too late...
the Morels were sauteed in Earth Balance with Asparagus and Leeks...
Mocha Almond Crunch Bar for dessert. Few things better....
Another Artichoke tomorrow. Bye for now.

What a fantastic dinner! So springy and lovely. Cute dinner guest too.
Is that the most morels you've ever found? I feel like usually there's only three or four.
Carrots and parsley is a favorite juice of mine. Parsley and beet are both really detoxifying.

Sounds like a great juice combo, i'm impressed by your change of heart with beets- they are great in juices.
I would eat an artichoke like that every chance i had too.
Those are some adorable morels! And quite a few! Such a pretty spring dinner. And a nice finish with that ice cream.

Lots of beets in my juice today too- "beets me" via green symphony.

The juice looks really beautiful. I need some juice or a smoothie in my life. It's finally getting warm enough!

What a beautiful bounty of morels!! Didn't you only find one or two last year? You found so many and made such a lovely dish out of them. How great that you can just walk outside and harvest some beautiful morels! Your new friend is super cute too!

Hey Now!!!!!

FF, it was a bumper crop of Morels this year. We dont know what caused it. we do usually on find a few. I wonder if i was detoxified by my juice? I hope so.

Unknown, as far as I know, I still dont like eating regular Beets, but the Juice I can do and it seems more nutritious than Apple Juice. Green Symphony even has a sense of humor. I prefer their men over Juice Press.

Sarah, you can check your yard for Morels as well. Do you have any Poplar, Elm or Ash Trees? Morels are often found under those trees (although, the pollen Is really bad right now, so, that part is a bummer).
