Tuesday, April 28th

Though I am no longer insanely obsessed, Artichokes still make a great meal...
Mr. SVegetarian was out on motorcycle business today and returned with a Common Market Tofurky Reuben (in his saddle bag!)...
enjoyed with these Chips I bought on whim this past weekend. All stellar....
Trader Joe's Speculoos Cookies for dessert...
More great food stockpiled for the rest of the week. Bye for now.

I can't tell you how many times I've bought artichokes and then let them go bad in the fridge. I don't know why I do this. It feels overwhelming, and I'm lazy. But I love them so much.

It looks like a delicious day! Chips cooked in avocado oil...did they taste of sea salt or avocado or both?

Ooh, I've had those avocado oil chips! They are really good.
I really wanted to doodle the Reuben wearing a motorcycle helmet and hanging on to mr. SV for dear life, but I couldn't figure out how to do that.
Haven't thought about those speculoos cookies in a while but I am due for a TJ stop soon.

I'm impressed the sandwich survived such a dramatic delivery in great shape! I don't understand those chips... Are they just regular chips made with avocado oil or they actually taste like avocado..?? Huh.
Good looking pickle there.
And i need to remember those cookies when i'm actually at trader joes...they are good ones. I have to go soon, down the the last few meatless balls and its making me anxious! (I tried the gardein meatless balls last week since they were on sale and they were just not the same and almost too big)

Looks like another drool-worthy food day! I've seen chips cooked in avocado oil at the Co-op, I will have to give them a try!

Oooh what a great food day!! The chips sound really yummy, definitely perfect to pair with a reuben. That pickle looks pretty phenomenal too! I love those speculoos cookies, they are perfect dippers :)

Hey Now!!!!!

Jenny, 'lazy' is one word that could never be used to describe you.

Ingrid, the Chips were delicious (what Chips arent?) but i would never had guessed they were made with Avocado Oil and Sea Salt unless the bag said so.

FF, I can totally envision the Sandwich with little arms (like a California Raisin) hanging on to Mr. SV for dear life till it was delivered to me for ravenous devouring.

Unknown, the Reuben is 'packed for travelling' and reassembled at home. i told Mr. SV not to bother asking them to do it, but he insisted. The Avocado Chips just tasted like regular (high quality) Chips. I would buy them again (because the bag is eye-catching). I am good on TJs Meatless Meatballs, yay! I also got a Tiki Masala in the freezer as well as several tubs of the Cream Cheese. Guess we're approaching Lambrusco season. I will look for that next time.

VP, very excited for you regarding the move. How will you transport all the babies?

Sarah, thanks, it was a good Pickle (Boars Head, but I prefer Nathans). Have a safe trip! Take lots of pics!
