Thursday, April 9th

Pretty good Grapefruit for only costing a dollar in April...
More carryout from yesterdays stop at Balaji Cafe -- the 'Manchurian Dumplings' -- super spicy but didnt give me heart burn...
Common Market Eggless Egg Salad on a really phenomenal toasted NYC Sesame Bagel for dinner...
TJ's Speculoos Cookies for dessert...
More WFH grub tomorrow. Bye for now.

You must have better citrus selectors at your grocery- two of my four blood oranges were dry inside recently.... Sigh.
Indian dumplings?? Sounds intriguing. Hard to see what shape they are but as long as they're yummy who cares. Dinner looks so summery! Like a picnic with the pickle side there too.

Well its actually walk 1/2 mile>subway 4 stops>bike 35 blocks> coffee> desk. Freaking cold today though so just walk>subway>coffee> desk.

oh speculoos (sp?) cookies....yum yum yum! I remember those fondly from my gluten-eating days. *sigh* boy that dinner sure looks delicious! NYC bagels are in a league of their own!

I'm so impressed by your citrus this year! That's a great deal for good citrus in April. The dumplings look phenomenal! I'm so jealous of those, that is definitely something I think I would enjoy. And you certainly can't go wrong with a NY bagel ;)

Hey Now!!!!!

Unknown, since the Grapefruit were only a dollar each, it wouldnt be as disappointing if they didnt work out. Due to spiciness of the Dumplings, I wont be partaking again. 35 blocks plus a half mile?! I didnt know Manhattan was that long without the subway part of it. What a commute! At least you get to see a lot of cool and interesting stuff en route.

GFHTummy, much as I would like to resist, gluten is a major food group for me.

Sarah, I am getting way too spoiled with these NYC Bagels. Unbelievablely superior.
