Sunday, April 5th

We beat the Easter rush this morning to arrive at True Food Kitchen @ 10:15. Splitting the 'Tofu Scramble Wrap' and 'TLT' again seemed like the best bet, but after consuming half the 'TLT' and the Kale Salad, I had no room for the other half 'Wrap'. Mr. SVegetarian to the rescue....
Other happy news: Whole Foods is open on Easter! Artichokes on sale for 3/$5 -- at that price, how bad could they be? The big bottles of Suja on sale for $6.49/each. Other sundries were indulged in as well...
Gardein Chickenless Tenders with Heinz-57 and Roasted Asparagus for dinner...
an Almond Milk Mocha Crunch Bar for dessert...
Lots of store bought (Common Market & Whole Foods) prepared foods on hand for the coming week. Bye for now.

And here i was thinking they would have some kind of special fancy easter brunch menu..! That TLT looks as epic as always, sounds like Mr V is a keeper if he enjoys the wrap enough to polish it off along with the other TLT half :)
What gorgeous artichokes! And that's a great price for the east coast. We always just steamed them and dunked leaves in mayo. And those ice cream bars look soooo good- nice to have ice cream sound appealing again now that it seems to have thawed around here!

I did go citibiking all over today but my only real stop was actually whole foods too- where i drank the juice i had made and brought with me on the bench outside. Restocked my nooch, 'fu, veggies and puffins with some dk chocolate to make monday suck less.

I'm pretty much drooling over the Crunch Bar! Yum! Your Whole Foods basket also looks great. A friend mentioned she'd like to try TFK, now I just need to get to commit!

Also, I will check into the Cocomel tours and get back to you ;)

my dude and his friend and I all went out to Easter brunch at Champs this morning without realizing it was Easter, or brunch time - but luckily it wasn't too long of a wait bc we got there early enough (I'm telling you this here bc you mention the Easter rush and also bc I was too weird to take a photo of our meal, so no recap)
Glad you got yr brunch, even if you aren't calling it brunch.
Will this year be the year I try to make my own artichokes? maybe not.
Eyein' those Almond milk cuties...nice choice.

Oooh great looking Easter meals. Glad you beat the Easter rush and were able to enjoy your breakfast. I bet Whole Foods wasn't too crowded too, which is great! The only way to shop there :) Great looking haul, the ice cream bar looks so yummy! jealous of your Suja haul too.

I am still working on my jewelry, trying to figure out the best way to sell it :) I've heard some not so great things about Etsy so I'm looking for other options :)

Hey Now!!!!!

Unknown, TFK did have some special poached egg dish, but that was it. I dont have high hopes for the "chokes, but am willing to deal with whatever at those prices. Thankfully not a Pufffin fan, probably best I dont keep trying, but I hope they improved your monday.

Ingrid, it was a happy haul at Whole Foods most especially because they were open on the holiday.

FF, how could you of all people forget Easter? That is not something I would admit if I were practicing Lent for the past month or so. Sad I wont get to see your Champs brunch. G never minded you photographing your meals.

Woops, crossed paths with you, Sarah. Cant believe anyone would have anything negative to say about Etsy.
