Sunday, April 12th

Heaven on a stick for breakfast...
Cold pressed Green Drink (Organic Spinach, Kale, Cucumber, Celery, Broccoli, Parsley, Celery) picked up at the Leesburg Farmers Market for lunch. Tasted really healthy. No Banana...
True Food Kitchen has a Lentil Soup as a special. I paid $7 for literally a cup to go. Fortunately, at $2/spoonful, it was extremely delicious...
a cup of Soup is not sufficient dinner so I supplemented with some Common Market New Delhi Pasta Salad...
found an old LPQ Matcha Muffin in the freezer for dessert...
life was so much simpler back when LPQ had their Tofu Scramble. I miss it. Back to WFH grub tomorrow. Bye for now.

I hope you're ok! I read your recent posts. That sandwich looks wonderful especially because I have sadly only had 2 sandwiches in a month! :0

That is such a "beauty shot" of your TLT! Sandwiches with toothpicks intimidate me- will it fall apart instantly when removed? Or will i impale myself trying to eat around it?? The juice sounds like a great find.
And what the what?! $7??? That's overpriced even by nyc standards! Good thing it was yummy. I wonder what other treasures are in your freezer.... Maybe LPQ will come out with a tempting spring/summer menu.

No proper brunching today but i did get to hang out with a very dear friend I don't get to spend one on one time with very much, and there was homemade (by her SO) bread and good espresso involved. My fingers are pale grey, toes are a fuscia pinky color :)

I like all of it! And yes, too bad about LPQ and really, Harriman's too. Why must the good stuff go away?!

A very green day!
That juice looks fantastic. As does the lentil soup, but I'd be more willing to pay that much for the juice than the soup.
I'm glad I tried the matcha muffin when I could and I'm glad you had the foresight to stock up on those.

Hey Now!!!!!

Jenny, as great as Sandwiches are, Vegan Reubens take them to a whole nother level.

Unknown, I usually fear the Sandwich Toothpick as well, but I really need it after True Food Kitchen to surreptitiously pick the Kale out of my teeth. The Soup portion was so small, I actually checked before leaving to make sure they hadnt given me an empty container, that's how light the bag was. Thanks for the kind LPQ thoughts. Homemade bread is a welcoming food item. Dont chip those nails enroute to/from work!

Ingrid, hopefully another cool vegan friendly establishment will arise before you visit Grandma. You still have Loving Hut and you wouldnt be able to eat through theor (all great) menu unless you stayed several weeks.

FF, glad someone appreciates my Matcha Muffin foresight besides myself.
