Monday, April 27th

Trader Joe's Corn Flakes with Hemp Milk for breakfast...
Native Foods Chili and Corn Bread for lunch...
WF's General Tso's Seitan for dinner....
A Mocha Almond Fudge Crunch Bar for dessert...
Couldn't take a decent pic to save my life today, but all was super great. Probably have to re-incorporate an Artichoke tomorrow due to stockpile. Bye for now.

Aw, cornflakes are always a fun throwback. I saw cashew milk at the local Key Food today, but not hemp milk.
Great looking chili. Not sure I'll ever be able to eat it again without wanting cashew cheese and cornbread to go alongside.

Cornflakes are a childhood food for me too- one of the few "healthy " cereals we were allowed to get-aka why i never buy them. I agree with FF, chili needs good accoutrements like yours.
Do you get the chopsticks at WF? What determins chopsticks vs fork for dinner when its loving hut or other asian food...?

Yes the fancy snacky mix was a big hit- i even had a few omnis ask i send them the "recipe". Why doesn't someone sell a noochy nut snack mix??

Did you get the email about Native Foods giving away free pie with purchase tomorrow? I've thought about going, but will leave work too late and then have spin class.

Corn Flakes, huh? You asked once about raisins in my bran... I like them, too. I guess I just reached for the plain bran flakes!

Hey Now!!!!!

FF, oh, somehow i think you will be able to eat Chili wihout Cashew Cheese. Hemp Milk is my favorite, but Coconut Milk is what is on tap for future cereal bowls Chez Shen.

Unknown, I totally bought the Cornflakes just for taste, thought they were empty calories, so I was surprised to read the nutritional stats. guess your Mom knew. I never did. I get squeamish eating Asian food with a fork. At least Chopsticks slow me down and i reuse them over and over. If I ever get invited to a party, I will ask for your recipe as well.

Ingrid, I did get the Native Foods email. Mr. SV and i are going to try to skip TFK one day this weekend and eat at Native Foods instead. Hopefully, their dessert case will be full, cuz on Sunday, it was empty! Not even a Brownie to be had! The picture on the TJ's box of Bran Flakes is enticing, but I grabbed the Raisin Bran instead (on the day I forgot to buy the Orange Chicken).

VP, if you arent near a Trader Joe's, Natures Path Cornflakes are super fantastic.
