Monday, April 20th

Common Market Eggless Egg Salad on a genuine toasted NYC Sesame Bagel for breakfast....
This Suja had a 'Use By' date of April 7th. Plus it has Honey in it. Nonetheless, I dont waste food. Was a surprisingly satisying lunch....
A ginormous Steamed Artichoke also satisfied tonight....
Almond Milk Toffee Almond Crunch for dessert...cant go wrong there...
Probably another Artichoke tomorrow. Why not? Bye for now.

I love how we have been getting a glimpse of yr yard along with the drinks. Looks like a beautiful day, it was really rainy here today.
In all my years in NYC I've never had eggless salad (or even tofu scramble) on a bagel. Gotta fix that.

It's artichoke city around this blog! ;) Toffee Almond Crunch certainly does sound amazing.

Great start to the day there!
Uhhh... April 7th? Promise you won't drink any that make a hissing sound or smell slightly fermented!
That does sound like a great flavor though. I keep buying almond coconut milk lately.
Good looking choke there!

I've always just done veganaise or a fancied up version of with artichokes, never did understand the butter dippers. Thank goodness the ankle is normal size again and feels ok, really impressive bruise though.
And delivery ethiopian sure isn't much to look at- like a box of different baby foods! The injera held up well enough for delivery but I couldn't revive the leftover pc tonight, got all rubbery weird.

I'm not used to seeing such small portions on your site! The one pic that I've seen of the partial you was so slim, so you just must be blessed. Anyhow, do you always trim the artichoke leaves on the big guys? I never do, and I we poke ourselves as we try to consume them.

Beautiful dogwood! I love artichokes, but I fill 'em up with garlic and breadcrumbs :-) That drink looks good, but can't they use agave for goodness' sake?

Hey Now!!!!

FF, but you have had Eggless Egg Salad havent you? I only recall seeing Chickpea Salad on your blog. Have you even had a Bagel since Easter?

Ingrid, it is this blog that is keeping me from only eating Artichokes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. embarrasing enough as it is.

Unknown, I told myself if the drink fizzed up when I opened it, i would pour the $6.49 down the drain. I am starting to get a weird feeling about Almonds now that such a big deal is being made about how they are a major cause of the CA drought. Is there such a thing as a bruise on an Artichoke? I will need to relook at the pic. Sounds like you got the Vegetarian Sampler. No way to pack that to go like Thai food.

Sarah, NYC Bagels make the exhorbitant cost of living there well worth it.

Blessed Mama, i have been eating a little lighter the past couple days. Not sure why. I definitely trim. So does each Blessing get their own Artichoke and you all sit together at the table plucking and dipping?

Abby, I barely have the patience to cut, trim and steam the Artichoke, let alone add accoutrements! I was so excited to see the big Sujas on sale, I didnt notice the word Honey. Duh! Why do they need it?
