Thursday, February 5th

A delightful Grapefruit for breakfast...
TJ's Chickenless Chicken for lunch with lots of Guac and Lettuce. Not as delicious as it looked...
'Spicy Sweet Potato Curry' (#39) $9.50 from Loving Hut for dinner. Sweet Potatoes, Curry, Coconut Oil, Tofu, Soy Protein, Lemongrass, Bell Peppers, Carrot and Chickpeas. Very creamy, so I had to use some Rice as a Sauce Dam...
Dinner was like dessert for tonight. One more day at home. Bye for now.

I definitely need to get back on the grapefruit train. Yours looks so good! It's so funny, I was just thinking that your lunch looked really good as I was reading and then you said it wasn't as good as it looked. Major bummer. Looks like dinner made up for it though!

So close to your breakfast wrap!

I can see how guac, lettuce and chick would go together, too bad it didn't work out. I nearly gasped when I saw the rice - I know it must have been very necessary to the meal in order to appear on your plate. ;)

P.S. I asked Mom this morning for their Falls Church agenda for today, and she said "nothing. Maybe dinner out." I'll find out where!

The dinner sounds awesome! I love most sweet potato dishes, and all curries. mmm.
I've been at a loss for desserts lately, and have been drinking tea with stevia and almond milk instead. But you, you have no excuse.

Gorgeous grapefruit there. I bought a pomelo today! It's the size of a toddler's head!! Haha. I'll find out in the morning if its 3" of skin and pith...
Too bad lunch was awkward, it does sound good on paper. Dinner sounds great! I love saucy dishes that get the rice all coated in it too.

I've probably only eaten at PF Changs twice in my life... Too many other options here and wasn't near where i grew up. Just never liked mapo tofu, usually just damned spicy! I do tofu cashews and broccoli or buddah's delight, sometimes this hot veggie rice tofu stew thing when i do chinese. Or the steamed rice noodle and scallion pancakes at the chinese bakeries.

The sweet potato curry looks delicious! I never realized how rare it is to see rice with your meals!

Hey Now!!!!!

Sarah, 17 1/2 hours till Wrap Time...

Ingrid, it has been bitterly cold here, so the Mosaic District is probably out, but Tysons Corner is always a good time killer. Fair Oaks and Fair Lakes are good too.

FF, too bad I dont have a quirky wiccan roommate to raid my dessert trolly so I can replenish it with new stuff.

Unknown, funny, I dont think of Mapo Tofu as being Spicy, but I suppose it is a little bit. Our local Chinese Food choices are extremely gross. Nothing like NYC Chinatown. The Scallion Pancakes sound fantastic.

VP, I love Avocado Sushi, but the rest of the time, Rice is not a food I can happily live without. I just dont get it.

Abby, I will keep an eye out for the Chips!
