Trapped inside all day due to extreme weather conditions...
fortunately for me, I had a ripe buttery Avocado on hand for lunch...
used some of that Black Salt FF is always going on and on about. It works...
Loving Hut Jalapeno Tofu for dinner, Mr. SVegetarian stocked up from there yesterday...
One of Sarah's Oatmeal, Cranberry, Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert. A meal in itself...
I am leaving the property tomorrow no matter what. Bye for now.

Haha, I can't believe you just had black salt on hand. Think you'll start using it more often? That bag will go a looong way. It also makes tofu scramble taste more eggy (wink wink.)
Stay safe out there tomorrow.

Gorgeous avocado toast! Black salt really does have such a unique flavor, i'll even put it on a boring baked potato. Glad the Mr had secured a delicious dinner ahead of time- those chunks of jalapeno must have warmed you up! Sorry about all your snow, we had some this afternoon too, just enough to make it obnoxious and messy. Hopefully you get out and about tomorrow!

I'm going for brunching sunday- its been too long between moving/weather/sickness, i'm overdue for a bloody mary and big meal someone else made! Doubt i'll find anything as delicious as your tofu wrap though... (Omni friends make where we go difficult)

Ugh this weather has been so awful! Luckily I've had the best cuddles from TJ and Tyler!! The cats get love but I can't let them in the bed bc of my cat allergy :( I'm going to have to drag myself away from them to shovel in a little bit.

Oatmeal is the perfect snowy day meal. It's one of my favorite comfort foods. How great that Mr. SVeg stocked up before so you could have that yummy dinner. Hope that you have a great Sunday brunch to make up for being cooped up all day!

Today is my snowed-in day. It's about 8 inches, so I could leave if I dug out my car. But I won't. Ha!

Great looking meals for having been snowed in - I might take a cue from you and see if my avocado is ready for some toast. I wish I had stocked up from somewhere yummy! Instead it'll have to come from the kitchen. *sigh*

Hey Now!!!!

FF, i bought that bag of black salt about five years ago. I think it was only .89 at the Asian Market to make vegan devilled eggs (which I never made). Yesterday was my first time trying it. I like it very much and will always use it on my Avocado Toast here on out.

Unknown, will never understand how you can't do spicy, but can do a Bloody Mary. Unless you explained it to me before and I forgot. How about that mirror crashing down on the diners at Balthazar? i always wanted to eat there, still do, just cuz the name is so cool. Let me know what you did for brunch so I can feel envious.

Sarah, did you got some pics of Tyler and TJ out in the snow. Does Eddie still lie on the curve of the bannister? that was such great pic.

Ingrid, I hope your Avo was ready. nothing worse than unready Avo. How could you not have stocked up for 8 inches?! That is crazy!
