a TLT is always a safe bet. I'm pressing some tofu now and wondering if I should marinade + cook it so it's like tofu bacon.I miss yr Common market reubens. How much of that brownie is left now?
The TLT looks great with the generous avocado in there. Good call on switching it up, coulda been the same doofus in the kitchen today as yesterday. Are those cutlets good?? Looks like as much outside coating as insides, i would be worried the insides get tough...That has got to be the neverending brownie. My pomelo was fun! There was a fairly thick layer of skin and pith but it was super juicy and ripe. After having it for bfast for two days i was over it and just crammed the rest into my juicer! Ttrockwood
Great looking TLT sandwich!Apparently Grandma in VA has been cooking up a storm, rather than asking to go out. I think she likes to cook for more than one when she can.
How come I can eat 4 brownies at a sitting and you're still slivering?
Oooh the TLT looks great! I hope yesterday's wrap didn't ruin it for you in the long run though! And I'm with FF, you haven't had a reuben in a long time! I also haven't seen those fried pickles in a long time too. That brownie looks ridiculous. Mmm.
Hey Now!!!!FF, I miss the Common Market Reubens as well, but the location isnt as conducive to loading up on weekly supplies. Just one piece of Brownie left.Unknown, the Turky Cutlets are good, better than Boca Chikn Patties, IMO. But you neither are your style. Maybe I will pick up a Pomelo this weekend. they are good value.Ingrid, is Grandma making some of your Dad's childhood favorites? Sounds like a positive visit that they're having.Abby, I would be in sorry shape if I ate the entire Brownie. Doesnt seem humanly possible.Sarah, so I need to hit Common Market and Clare and Don's Beach Shack. It is tough being vegan! Watch out for those icy conditions up there. Heard about it on the news.
