Monday, February 2nd

Two Mineolas for breakfast. I have Sarah to thank for giving me the courage to try buying Citrus fruits again. After so many years of buying dry mealy fruit, I had really given up. Be brave!
Hearty Chili and Cornbread courtesy of The Randy Radish for lunch...
PF Chang's MaPo Tofu for dinner...
Chewy Cocomels for dessert...
and that was just a Monday! I said I had some good grub stockpiled. Stay tuned. Bye for now.

What a great way to start the week! You are having such a good citrus season- the variety is impressive. Randy's chili looks like it has some good texture to it, and cornbread is the ideal dippable.
What makes you decide on pf chang's vs loving hut for chinese/asian food?

Haha- there are certainly days where lunch is the highlight :) it was snowing/freezing rain pretty badly out today so i was lazy and just ran around the corner for miso to have with my tupperware lunching. Winter can go away NOW. Please.

Yay for citrus! I'm so glad you are back in the groove! I haven't had nearly as much citrus as I've wanted to because of not being able to peel a stupid orange myself… I buy organic anyway so I can't imagine they would inject it with a chemical, right? Should I be brave too?

You certainly do have some great meals at your disposal! The tofu looks so good as do the cocomels. We have been pounded by snow and ice and there is more coming so it has been difficult but I'm hoping to show some meals soon!

Looking forward to seeing what else you bought for the week!

The chili looks really good. My friend and I were talking abt cornbread recently, she puts jalapeños and orange marmalade on hers! Nice looking saucy ma po.
I would maybe go looking for those cocomels but I feel like I'd eat way too many.

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, I have some Loving Hut saved up for the week as well, but PF Changs MaPo Tofu really is a favorite of mine. You must be over your bronchitis if you are running out at lunch for Miso Soup.

Sarah, sorry I am not there to peel your citrus. I find it a soothing activity. I believe the pesticides can come up through the roots of the plant as well, so take no chances. Didnt know you were still getting pounded. Is it Linus?

FF, I have had Jalapeno Cornbread in my pregan days and loved it. I love Marmalade in any and everything, it would even make a good zine name!
