WTF Monday

The last piece of Randy Radish Quiche heated up for breakfast....

Some CSA Radishes were put to use making this Martha Stewart Radish and Avocado Sandwich for lunch...
I only had enough Avocado for one slice of bread, so I tried Tofutti Cream Cheese on another slice. The Avocado slice was way better.
Consumed the rest of the Radishes with Garlic Scape Dip...I felt really healthy after eating this.
Utilized the CSA Cabbage in this 22-year-old recipe for Kielbasa and Cabbage for dinner. Made with Tofurky Kielbasa. It was not as great as the 61 reviews would lead one to believe.
I'll be stuck in a cube all day tomorrow, but still anticipate procuring a good lunch at WF's, i.e., hoping for more of the Blackened Tofu.

That quiche lasted so long and looked good every time. I would definitely believe it that the avocado slice tasted better :) Can't beat avocado! Too bad dinner was disappointing but it seems that dessert would definitely make up for it!

Boo for the cube, yay for blackened tofu (hopefully!) ;)

Hmm. . .I've never been able to wrap my taste buds around radishes, I commend you on your healthy lunch!

Do you have Isa's Appetite for Reduction? The Braised Seitan with Cabbage is so incredible. If not (and if you're interested!), I can email you the recipe. :)

That really is a beautiful lunch! The radishes look so amazing- very Martha and super healthy. You could even refer to it as a "tartine" like LPQ ;)) Too bad the dinner dish wasn't as fab as promised. At least it ended well with the cookie!
I had a lovely Russki tonight! Had to cut it with some seltzer since i'm a cheap date but i muddled a little sugar with the mint- my new favorite beverage for the summer

Are you sad that the quiche is gone? I think I would be. It's looked delicious every time!

The radishes look very pretty sliced so thin. Like Ingrid, I'm not a fan of them so I commend you for eating them.

Hey Now!!!

VaVa, thanks! I am not able to find gorgeous Avocados like you do. Just Avocado on Bread without the Radishes is good (in case you didn't know)...

Ingrid, I do not have Appetite for Reduction. I'd love to have the recipe. Is it something like this?

Unknown, those Mint Leaves really freshen things up, don't they? Like standing on top of the Alps...

RVs, I won't take Radishes off the Salad Bar etc, but as part of the CSA, I'll go for it. Not as bad as Beets.
