WTF Wednesday

Eggless Egg Salad on an Ezekiel English Muffin for breakfast...Really tasty.
Wegmans finally got on board with the faux meats...
Lunch was some of their new chickenless nuggets with Heinz-57. A nice change of pace from TJ's/Gardein (who thought vegans would ever even have one choice, let alone several?!) I will buy them again.
Soy Boy Okara Burgers with a Baked Potato and Sour Supreme for dinner.
An entire Carrot Cake Cupcake from Dawson's Market for dessert. Devoured without a fork. Divine!
Cube food tomorrow.

I've been hearing really great things about Wegmans! I wish we had them around here. maybe it's what I'm (not) looking for at the stores but you seem to have a huge selection that I don't. I STILL want to try those okara burgers!

Wegman's was the grocery store in town where I went to school and let me tell you, I miss that place so much! It's such a great store with lots of options. It's funny, I was just talking to someone the other day about how many more options vegans have now than even just 5 years ago and how great it is. Those chick'n nuggets look great and I have to imagine they are less expensive than gardein. That carrot cupcake looks amazing!

Wegman's. Dawson's Market. Go ahead, and flaunt your awesome food markets. ;)

I, too, would eat the entire cupcake with a fork. Spread that frosting around.

Nice to see vegan options multiplying at "regular" supermarkets although as Feudie and Vava point, we don't have Wegman's up in the northeast. The cupcake is beautiful.

I wish I could find those SoyBoy burgers around here. I used to eat those all the time and then everyone stopped carrying them.

It's always so exciting to find new items. Glad the Wegman's find was good!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, not buying your claim that you don't have the selection we have down here. You're in the center of the universe. The Okara Burgers are too processed for you anyway.

VaVa, Wegmans is finally aware of WF's I guess. They even have a vegetarian hot bar at a few of their local stores now. Not as neat as your ShopRite though.

Ingrid, when you visit Grandma, you'll have several new places to investigate while she's napping.

Miss Rachel, you don't have Wegmans???? I thought they originated in your area. Have fun with that two feet of snow coming your way.

Molly, surprised to see you comment. I assumed you were snowed in. Glad you're okay.
