Breakfast was a recreation of FF's iconic photo: Pumpernickel Bagel with Tofu Cream Cheese. This was my first attempt. Next time I will slap on even more Cream Cheese and slice it half hazard -- New Yawk style.
Lunch was the Stir-Fried Rice that I got off the WF's Hot Bar on Monday. Spicy Oily Goodness.
Soy Boy Okara Burgers with TJ's Tots for dinner.
Another entire Carrot Cake Cupcake from Dawson's Market for dessert. So great.
Coming up tomorrow: A day dedicated to l'amour...of food!

Haha! Iconic, truely. That should be the picture on the New York State flag. Did you go to a bagel shop for the pumpernickel? I never see them sold at grocery stores.
I'm so jealous of all of your meals today. Pumpernickel with CC is my absolute favorite bagel preparation... and you know this jewish broad from NY loves her bagels. The rice looks really delicious too and you know I can't resist the tots. carrot cake has really grown on me a lot over the past few years and that cupcake looks perfect.
Did you practice your NY accent while eating breakfast? I still can't tell how thick mine is.
I love, love, love bagels. This photo looks pretty fantastic, if you ask me!
Making Unfried Rice has been on my mind for a while now, and you have inspired me further.
Are Okara burgers related to okra? Or is it flavor based?
Great start to the day there! I have done some extensive research for the best bagel in nyc (pick a bagel on 23rd and 2nd ave), a good tofu cream cheese is always delightful- most places really give like an inch thick here!
I should look for those burgers, been too lame to make my own lately and i'm nearly out of tj's meatless balls
The cupcake is gorgeous- looks like a good frosting to cake ratio there

Wow, an entire day of deliciousness!
I smiled at the description of how you'll be doing the bagel next time. ha!
The rice looks really good, as does the cupcake. Yum!
Hey Now!!!!!
You know your bagel commerce. I did buy the single Pumpernickel Bagel at a Bagel Shop just for the recreation of your breakfast. Now I have to buy another one to get it closer.
VaVa, ha! I have closer to a southern accent I guess. Don't think I can do NY. Carrot Cake has only grown on me the past year as well. How weird.
Ingrid, Okara is some bi-product of cooking Soy Beans, I believe. I could do a quick internet search, but that would be too easy.
Unknown, OMG! An inch of Cream Cheese! I want to get back to Manhattan so bad, but it is impossible with the three pups...last time we went we only had two to bring. I'll remember 'Pick A Bagel' should I get my *ss up there.
Whoops! I missed your post, Molly! Yes, I'm all ready for my next NYC Bagel recreation.
