Friday, February 1st

Blah Blah Blah Breakfast...
Lunch with Mom at Amalfi's, where we split some Cannellini Beans to start....
and I had a House Salad....
and the side of Spaghetti Marinara that came with my Mother's Eggplant Parmesan. Additionally, there was tons of fresh baked bread dipped in Olive Oil and a generous pouring of Red Wine.
Still had room for dinner though: Boca Burgers and TJ's Tots.
Too much excitement for me today.  I'm going sleepy now. Bye.

The house salad looks pretty "dece" - even chickpeas in there. Or, I guess the Italian restaurant would say "ceci."
The pasta is cracking me up, though. So silly all over that plate.

Dinner looks really, really good. Have you tried the TJ sweet potato tots?

Lunch looks really good! I'm with FF, the salad looks pretty good, especially for being a house salad. Typically they throw in one tomato and a cucumber and call it a day. The beans look great too.

No response from Stoli yet but I may have emailed the wrong address. I'm going to try again because I'm not ready to let this spiked salted caramel hot cocoa go yet ;)

You must have a great relationship with your mom, which I think is awesome (and I'm envious of). Lunch looks terrific.

I had the same breakfast as you today. :)

Italian would have been my next guess. ;) Looks tasty. Although, how are those cannellini beans prepared?

Hey Now!!!!

FF, yep, they really just slopped the pasta right onto that little bowl.

Nikki, I've only had Sweet Potato Tots once and didn't like them. Are you recommending TJ's brand?

VaVa, I, too, was surprised to see two Tomato Slices and two Cucumber Slices. I hope to hit up the ABC (Alcohol & Beverage Control) store tomorrow.

Molly, my food obsession comes from my mother. Not sure I'd say the relationship is 'great', definitely not something to be envious of.

Ingrid, dang! Should've gone with your second guess;-) I don't know how they prepare the Cannellini Beans. I was wondering that myself. They were served hot however.
