Sunday, February 3rd

Brunch buffet at Normandie Farm today. I consumed a lot of Artichokes, Hearts of Palm and Mushrooms. It seems like they might have put cream on the Artichokes & Hearts of Palm. I hope I'm wrong.
Hummus with Sun-Dried Tomato Bread and Penne Pasta with Mushrooms and Sun-Dried Tomatoes were enjoyed as well.
Nachos are a Super Bowl tradition for me, as is blogging during the game. This years Nachos were comprised of: TJ's Chips, TJ's Refried Beans, TJ's Salsa with Daiya and Sour Supreme. Not as great as when made with real cheese, but better than in Super Bowl years past.
Tune in tomorrow to see if I ever eat again. I'll be surprised if I do.

Lunch looks great! Hopefully that wasn't cream. I hate when meals seem iffy like that.

Your nachos sound really good. Have fun watching the game!

Isn't this the place where you went for Thanksgiving? Or perhaps I am remembering incorrectly. I hope they didn't taint your system with any cream!

I think the nachos look fantastic! Have you tried a cheese sauce? Happy Herbivore has a pretty good one that is great with chips.

Brunch looks really good. Too bad about the iffy cream situation. Hopefully it wasn't the real stuff. I love hearts of palm and that bread has me salivating. So do the nachos.

You had me at sun dried tomato bread an hummus. I agree with everyone and hope that there was no cream in your hearts of palm. Brunch looks lovely though.

Your nachos look really good. I had a lot of the same ingredients in quesadilla form :) Still waiting to hear from Stoli. I'm going to be running around all day tomorrow but maybe I'll pop into a liquor store during my travels to see what they have going on.

What's the green stuff on the nachos? Salsa verde? From TJ? I could go for a tasty tradition. Who were you guys rooting for anyway?

Hey Now!!!!

Molly, non-iffy meals are always so much more pleasurable than iffy ones.

Ingrid, you have an excellent memory. We did go there for Thanksgiving. I need to ask them about the ingredients, but I don't think it would be easy to get answers. No, I've never tried Happy Herbivore's Cheese Sauce. Maybe for next year's Nachos.

Nikki, glad to connect with another Hearts of Palm lover.

VaVa, I'm starting to think Stoli is blowing you off.

Michelle, i know you've been there. Hope you're going to keep us apprised of your new adventures again.

FF, yep that was TJ's Salsa Verde. Oh, my belly! Anyway, I was hoping the Ravens would win, Mr. SV just wanted a good game, which he got.
