WTF Wednesday

Boring but good, homemade Veggie Soup for lunch.
FF recently turned me on to Sjaak's vegan chocolates, so tonights dessert was a Celebrate Bar. Incredible!
Coming up tomorrow: Scrounging for more vegan grub of interest.

I was just about to order the celebrate bar from Food Fight online! I was going to just wait a while before I decided. I haven't ever tried them but I have heard good things. Now I know to go ahead with the purchase though, since I trust your taste in good sweets and all :)

We like to have Rising Moon every once in a while. It's pretty good!

I could totally go for some chocolate right now. I've been craving it a lot lately...

Nothing boring about it! Homemade soup is on my to-do list this weekend, there really is nothing better. Ravioli? Yes, please!

Colorado is active (lots of commuters on bicycles - even in the snow today!), and there is a movement towards local and organic. However, besides two acquaintances, I am the only vegan I know. Which might mean I should get out more often?! I do, however, know a lot of vegetarians and non-red meat eaters.

Lastly, I just spent 15 minutes scouring menus of local Chinese restaurants. I just might be on to a few!

Oooh the ravioli! All steamy and tasty looking. Your soup still looks amazing, I love hearty veggie soups. ANd the chocolate bar! Yum! I need to check that out.

EXCUSE ME where is the hummus we were promised? Is this WTF or not?

I actually didn't know Eli's was the same as Sjaaks. Did you find it in a store or get it online?

Hey Now!!!!!

Isotope, you are safe to order the Eli's bars from Food Fight. I was very impressed with the quality.

Molly, you eat some great grub. Keep posting it (even if it bores you)

Ingrid, I don't know how close you are to Denver, but I have heard of Watercourse Foods. If I ever get to Colorado, that's where I'm going.

VaVa, it may be frowned upon to show the steam in food pics, but I like to eat while it's still hot. Can't wait for it to dissipate.

FF, there was quite the internal struggle over enjoying some Hummus on Crackers vs. behaving myself. In the interest of fitting into my pants today, the Hummus lost...For now...

Jenny, of course you've had the bars before! You know all the most delicious foods. How about letting us in on some more of them before you go on maternity leave?

Stacy, yep, I'm a Ravioli fanatic. Lived on the stuff in my pregan days: Celentano Frozen Ravioli with Prego. I was always quite gaseous.

Michelle2, my soup needs some elbow noodles, right;-)

I had no idea that it is frowned upon to have steam in pics? I think it looks totally fresh and piping hot and yummy!
