WTF Wednesday

Lunch was a 'Chicken Salad' Sandwich composed of items picked up at Roots Market over the weekend.
This was not the best vegan 'Chicken Salad' I ever had.
The Potato Salad could've been better as well. I like a little Pickle Juice action in my Potato Salad.
Another bowl of mega spicy Black Bean Soup. Mr. SV refuses to eat any, so it's on me to ingest it all.
Ancient poo just to wrap things up:
Why I feel the need for a post summation is beyond me.

Ha! I love the graphs. Awesomeness.

Too bad the salads weren't as good as they could be. They sound good, though!

Agreed - pickle in necessary in a potato salad. It really is better that you get to enjoy the black bean yumminess all to yourself!

I'm thinking you might need a "salty" dessert trolley. Sometimes, sweet just doesn't hit the spot!

I love the graph, ha!

Sad to hear the salads weren't as good as you hoped. Looks can be decieving.

Hahaha that graph is awesome! Every time my friend invites me over for a BBQ he says "don't worry there are plenty of rocks and lots of grass for you to eat." Bummer about the salads but I a bowl of veggie booty sounds like a great way to end the day!

I love the graph! Haha, "grass." Too bad about the chicken salad, I don't really like those salady things but apple-smoked anything sounds really tasty.

I like your post summations. This one was particularly fun. The psychologist in me would say that your need to wrap up your posts neatly would have something to do with a lack of closure you've had somewhere in life. Consider it.

How could he say no to black bean soup?

Oh and, ahem.

HAHAHA I love that chart it's soooooooooo true to what people think of vegans...

Hmmmm...at least everything *looked* delicious. I like the pie chart too. Is 'pie' included as an item?

Well, I for one, appreciate the post summations. Where did you get that chart?

I'm with you on pickles and potato salad.

I like the graphs. It's so true. Vegans eat a far more varied diet than most omnivores I know.

Hey Now!!!!

Molly, there has been a lot of disappointing grub around here lately. Might need to stop taking risks and only eat guaranteed delicious things again.

Ingrid, thanks for giving me the idea to add some Pickle to the remainder of my Potato Salad.

Beckafly, are you looking to go vegan? I hope the answer is 'Yes!'

VaVa, time to 'accidentally' splash your friend with lighter fluid at his next BBQ.

FF, sorry my store bought Salads were not to your tastes.

Jenny, how many post summations will be required before I make up for all the lack of closure in my life? A lot of it can never be closed.

Isotope, I graciously accept your invitation. Sure hope it's the recipe for the Banana-Walnut Chocolate-Chip Oat Cookies.

Carissa, I think I would probably hate any vegan I ever might meet in person. Must ponder that one.

Stacy, yeah, the food really looked good, but tasted really 'meh'.

Blessed Mama, the chart was culled off Buzzfeed.Com. As I noted, kinda old, but I needed something to tie it all together. I probably should have given credit.

Rose, true, I eat very close to a non-vegan and there is a large amount of starch.

PS follow-up question: would you hate just most vegans or does your misanthropy extend to nonvegans as well?

Stacy, when I start cruisin' the intertubes, my Dark Passenger takes over. In real life, I'm quite the friendly and mellow person. I have actually met a real life vegan (the proprietor of Loving Hut claims to be vegan) and liked them very much. I was just imagining a worst case scenario when Carissa brought up 'thinking of vegans'. It's her fault. Totes.
