Tuesday, October 4th

Asian Tofu and Steamed Vegetables (One pound exactly for $7.99) from WF's for lunch...
Chickpea Cutlets and Sweet Potato Fries with Curry Sauce (Vegenaisse and Curry Powder) for dinner.
A Half Baked Truffle for dessert.
A website that's new to me and I found quite hilarious.

I've heard of that website before but have never checked it out. Now I must!

That truffle is calling to me. Mercy!

Vegannaise (or however you spell it) and curry powder, nice! And that truffle, well, sigh...I'm really really glad I don't have a dozen or so of those around here...

Mr. Monk would be proud of your even pound, and I am too.
The fries look awesome. They make me remember an awkward family photo of my brother with fries up his nose.

I'm jealous of all of your food once again. The tofu with broccoli looks really delicious and I love me some sweet potato fries. And awkward family photo is so funny! Sometimes while I'm editing photos I see pics that totally need to go on that site :X Have you ever seen cake wrecks?! ALso super funny!

So did you make those truffles? They look AMAZING but the recipe seems labor-intensive (for a lazy person like me, anyhow).

Mmmm veganaise and curry powder, a firm favourite of mine. I have it with new potatoes, red onion and chives. Best potato salad in the world :-) If I do say so myself.

That is a funny site. They have a book out, too, if you feel like splurging. Very proud of you on hitting the one pound mark and on the strategically placed curry mayo dollops.

Please tell me that you made those truffles and that they are not left over from VaVa's giveaway...

Those fries look so good. I'll have to try the curry sauce that way sometime. The shot of that truffle is truly drool-worthy!

That site is funny, Sarah mentioned it too, but it totally reminded me of cake wrecks.

Hey Now!!!!

Jenny, all the food was all excellent. If it was bad, I'd have noted that.

Molly, glad SOMEONE hasn't heard of the website! Thank you!

Zoa, oh how I wish I had a dozen or so of thetruffles laying around. Must parse them oh so sparingly.

FF, so what was awkward about the photo of your brother?

VaVa, gah! okay! So I'm late discovering the Awkward Family Photo website. I get it!

Stacy, I agree, the Truffles are way too labor intensive for most normal folks to make.

Nicola, sounds like an excellent Potato Salad recipe! Chives and Red Onion!?

Blessed Mama, thanks for noting the Curried Mayo dollops.

Michelle2, yeah, like I could actually make those Truffles myself. Good one.

Rose, so everyone apparently is out looking at these hilarious websites, but no one is telling me? Is that what's happening?

Morgan, pulleeze, like you don't make a huge pot of steamed Broccoli every day. I know you do!
