Saturday, October 1st

A Groupon induced lunch today at Foode. Fries were shared as an appetizer.
My Veggie Plate $10 -Potatoes, Mushrooms & Green Beans.
After all the Potatoes at lunch, I knew I wasn't gonna be having Potatoes at dinner. Boca Chick'n Patties and Roasted Brussel Sprouts to the rescue.
Wayfare We Can't Say It's Cheese on Ezekiel WW Bread for dessert. They definitely can't say it's cheese.
Gussied up with a sprig of wilted Parsley in honor of MoFo.
I like to say that every day is MoFo here. Because it is.

Yum looks like a great food day! Nice veggie combo at lunch and your roasted brussels sprouts look great! Another savory dessert, nice. And I appreciate that every day is MoFo for you! Always look forward to it!

How is that Wayfare stuff? I've considered getting it before but haven't yet.

That all looks very tempting! I love We Can't Say It's Cheese! Their hickory flavor is my favorite.

An occasional overdose of potatoes is necessary - and I approve of the fries and roasted varieties! :)

I have hard time liking the faux cheese products, seeing as cheese was the last to go from my vegan diet. I'm guessing it was, however, decent enough?

Haha, I remember last year, feeling the way Maud does now; in the middle of MoFo madness it was a relief to come here and return to normal. It is Vegan MoFo all year round here.

I like the Wayfarer cheeses. Same as Cadry, the hickory flavor is my fav. It's hard to tell: do you give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down? It certainly looks elegant on the plate.

I was pleased to stumble upon your blog today! I'm a NoVa native studying at JMU now and love to hear more about dining out options. I am also a big Wegmans fan!

Cheese no good, eh? Parsley rocked, though, I bet.

I too would like a more clear endorsement or rejection of the "cheese." Also, I now want fries.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, yes, 'Foode'. No, I do not know how to pronounce it. Yes, I am a cool oasis. No, I did not eat the sprig.

VaVa, how are those endorphins? I think I need to take up Mixed Martial Arts so I too can get my aggression out before taking to the interwebs.

Molly, save your $$, the 'cheese spread' was weak to say the least.

Cadry, wish you had told me about the Hickory before I wasted $3.99 on the Cheddar.

Ingrid, abandon all hope, ye who long for a realistic vegan 'cheese'.

Rose, in my opinion, the Wayfarer 'cheese' stands alone. Preferably far away from me. (The new avatar is more 'accessible', i.e., 'relatable'. Now how about a blog post to go with it?)

Jared, welcome to my blog. It's very exciting to have a young male come by! Unfortunately, I'm already betrothed, but don't let that prevent you from gleaning some excellent vegan info.

Blessed Mama, the Parsley is on its last legs, however, the Boca Chickn Patties reliably rocked. Little JK is a fan, he knows what I'm talkin bout.

Stacey, I must check the 'reject' box on the so-called "Cheese". Plus I'm stuck with the container sitting in the fridge for a few years.
