Friday, October 28th

Lunch was at Amalfi's ,where I had the House Salad $5...
...and a side order of Spaghetti Marinara...and a lot of Bread with Olive Oil....
Dinner was the next to last bowl of homemade Veggie Soup.
A couple Sjaak's Peanut Butter Bites for dessert.
Is Vegan Mofo almost over? I, for one, am exhausted trying to keep up with everyone's posting.

I didn't participate in Mofo...It's too hard. Those peanut butter treats look good!

Amazingly, I haven't thought MoFo was too hard this time! I do much better when I'm obligated/signed up for something. But then again I didn't watch Beavis and Butthead so I have a little more time. Do you and Mr. SV eat the same thing at night?

Wait, so did you order the Sjaaks online? What other stuff did you get? Did you find the caramel?

OK, so Beavis and Butthead was HILARIOUS!! That pot of soup must have been huge, you got so many meals out of it! Peanut butter cup looks super yummy too.

I love those peanut butter cups. Good thing I can only buy them individually vs. in a bag!

Bravo! Looks like a truly delicious day! Mofo has been very overwhelming, but I just try to look at 2 to three new blogs each day if I can - if not, I've bookmarked the blog roll to peruse at a later time.

Thanks for the link - I think I'm too nice, and generally let other people choose the restaurants (which are not necessarily vegan friendly). No longer!

Yeah. MoFo has been really weird. In a good way.
Too much work for me, though :)

I started Mofo, but since I didn't manage to register I gave up.

Can I ask you a questions about the ads in your blog? How much control do you have on them? Maybe I should let you know that every time I visit on the side bar there is an ad for food discounts in Auckland (usually for McDonald big macs, but today I have a chicken curry) and under the post an ad for loosing weight. I don't know what other readers get, it will depend on where they live, I guess.

Hey Now!!!!

Carissa, the lady in Arkansas begs to differ on the difficulty of Mofo.

Jenny, you definitely did a great job this Mofo. Phenomenal looking eats. No, Mr. SV & I rarely eat the same thing at night. It took many years to accept, but we just prefer different foods.

FF, thanks again to you. The Sjaaks' shipping was more than the cost of the actual candy. I bought just one of the caramel bars because there were so many other exciting options.

VaVa, compared to 'Couples Retreat', 'Beavis & Butthead' was hilarious.

Molly, you're so lucky you can buy the PB Cups individually. I can only find them online.

Kimberly, thanks, it was a good food day.

Ingrid, I expect to see some impressive Denver vegan grub on your blog now!

Nicola, these Chocolates were exceptionally great. They probably ship overseas.

Stacy, 'Idiocracy' had a brilliant idea behind it. I only saw it once though. Need to see it again.

Isobelle, Mofo would probably have been easier for you had you gone in with a digital camera and flash.

Alessandra, I have no control over the ads on my blog (other than telling all the fatties from NZ to lose some weight). Actually, Nicola (from GB) said she saw meat advertisements when she visited my blog. I suppose this is a message I should just take down the ads before I get my $1 profit. Can't wait to see how to accomplish that.
