There's too much TV to watch. Spicy Turnips, Chana Masala and Lentils off Whole Food's hot bar..
followed by Asian Noodles, Hearts of Palm and Quinoa w/Garbanzos from the salad bar (sure the hot vegetables were more than enough food, but I didn't want to risk not being uncomfortably stuffed).Hummus, Cucumber & Lemon on Sassy Sandwich Bread for dinner. Much better when the Lemons are thinly sliced.
Rice Milk Bar for dessert.

I love it; turnips are totally under-appreciated but I never even thought to spice them up like that! Thank goodness it's still freezing in Spring and I can make some last root vegetables.
How is that chocolate? I've never had that brand before.
We've got a bit of TV to watch tonight, too. :)
I'm with ya on the too much TV to watch. :o)
I'm glad the sandwich was better this time....it looks very tasty with that bread!
Oh...I so want that chocolate bar. Was it good?
Yeah, how was the chocolate? Ive seen that brand but never tried. Did you eat the actual lemon rind on the sandwich?? Just curious.
Yummy, the spicy turnips and Chana Masala and Lentils look really fun and different. I haven't had a turnip for as long as I can remember. I agree that it is probably an under appreciated food. I need to buy some and use them in a recipe. The chocolate bar looks very tempting:)
I've never considered lemon slices in a sandwich. But why not? What a cool idea.
Mmmmm. Turnip! Love it!
Turnips and Lemon Rind!
Turnips and Lemon Rind!
Is that what this blog has become???
No!
Anyway, the Enjoy Life is a great candy bar! Highly recommend.
Lemons on sandwiches works fine when sliced paper thin and this was not my original idea. Original ideas aren't us.
"but I didn't want to risk not being uncomfortably stuffed"
hahhahahaha
everything looked really good:)
What's sassy sandwich bread?
Rice Milk Bar sounds yummy! :-) So does all the other food! Thanks for sharing!
