Lunch was more Mujdarrah $6.95 from Olive Express.
All though the Mujdarrah is a massive portion, I had to at least try their Lentil Soup $2.50. A most righteous version of Lentil Soup it is. Comes w/Pita Chips!Chesapeake Tempeh Cakes with Roasted Asparagus and Mr SV's Artichoke Pasta Salad for dinner.
No dessert as of posting time.
Copious quantities of Frontera Shiraz

Tempeh cake looks good. And the split pea soup too. I love split pea soup so much which is funny because I dont love peas on their own.
Yum, great eats! I really like the look of that rice dish; I want to try some soon!
Artichoke pasta salad? *drool*
Everything looks delicious!
Kudos for Mr. S.V. making a pasta salad! When's he going to make his spaghetti dinner again?
Wow...what a great food day! Pita chips and lentil soup sounds so good right now!
Whazzup, Ladies????!!!!
Morgan, it's so unlike you to err, but the soup is Lentil. I agree, it looks like Split Pea, so completely understandable mistake.
Rose, this Rice Dish is totally your style.
VF, it's just boiled Pasta and a jar of Marinated Artichokes & Capers mixed together.
Deb, thank you!
Blessed Mama, Mr. SV has been cutting back on calories so no Thursday Night Spaghetti till he's back to his fighting weight.
Michelle2, yes, it was pretty decent food day. No where near the best I've ever had though.
