Gearing Up For Game Day

Beer Brat culture is very passionate. I didn't know this when I purchased some Tofurky Beer Brats last week. My first ever Brat was enjoyed today on a non-Hot Dog Bun with non-Yellow Mustard, some Saurkraut, Roasted Onions and Peppers. The Bread, Mustard, Onions & Peppers were great. Couldn't really taste the Brat amongst all that other stuff.
Boca Chik'n Patties, Rice & Beans and Roasted Asparagus for dinner.
Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

That sandwich sounds amazing. I think I've had the beer brats before but I could eat a sandwich of just roasted pepper, sauerkraut, and mustard. I just realized I'm out of mustard though!
That ice cream still sounds wild.

Eating brats was a huge thing when I lived in Milwaukee, but I have never had one. Even the carnivore would never touch one. I'm sure there will be a few at today's super bowl party. Go Packers!

BTW, it's a pretty nice little shack. Although (believe it or not) about half the size of all my neighbors!

I can't see the non-yellow mustard, and now I'm curious what it was. Sweet hot maybe? That sounds good with your roasted peppers and onion.

Hello, Fellow Vegans!

Kimberly, I'd never had a brat before either. It was certainly softer than a regular sausage, which I tried to put out of my mind.

Michelle1, if you had walked into any food store, you would have quickly been made aware that the superbowl is this weekend.

FF, I concur -- the sandwich would've been great with just the veggies and mustard.

Susan, I learned all about Milwaukee in my brat research. Looks like your Packers are gonna win it!

Jessica, the non-yellow mustard was just Annie's Dijon. Pretty darn strong. I do own some sweet & hot mustard, maybe I'll open it for the next brat. I know that sports food is more your milieu than mine.
