Whole Food's Salad Bar for lunch. Love those crunchy Soy Nuts on top. Everytime I see Hearts of Palm, I think of Rose. She really loves them.
A slice of Sarah Kramer's 'Like A Virgin' Cherry Pie for dessert. Again, I had no desire to bake a Cherry Pie in February, but it's a pretty damn good recipe! Lowered expectations? Perhaps. Just sayin' don't be deterred by lack of fresh Cherries, the frozen kind worked well for me.
Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

I love cherries. And I still need to try that field roast.
Aww, I"m touched that hears of palm remind you of me. :)
We're having something similar for dinner too: mushroom loaf, baked taters and chard.
I think you've convinced me about the pie; I really like the look of it, very appealing to me.
I always put the soy nuts and hearts of palm on my Whole Foods salads, too. I bought a jar of cherries at WF about a month ago because my children begged me to. I have been meaning to make a cherry pie with it.
This means tomorrow doesn't have to be delicious at all, right?
mmmm gravy you have a special spot in my heart, and on my thighs.
Hears of Palm...I just can't bring myself to try it....
I still want to try that field roast too!
There is only one store around here that sells Road's End Gravy packets. I need to make another trip out there, I am a little jealous of your 200% deliciousness.
Be Cool, My Babies!!!
Carissa, you will love the Field Roast.
Rose, I know! This has been going on for at least a year! I see Hearts of Palm, the first thing I think of is: Rose!
Jenny, do your kids search for the monkey and get free balloons when they go to TJ's? That's what they do up here.
Michelle1, yeah, right. Not many women would display their thighs as their blog header.
FF, you have brought up an interestng question: Am I in a delicious food deficit? Deep thoughts...
Michelle2, you can eat Cabbage but not Hearts of Palm?! My how foolish you will feel once you taste the goodness of Palm Hearts.
Jessica, stock up on the gravy packets. I can only find them at one store now as well.
Michelle, try the Hearts of Palm! You won't regret it!
We don't have a TJ's here! :0 I've went to the one in STL a few times, and we went to one once in CA, where they enjoyed the tiny little shopping carts.
