WTF Friday

Gardein Crispy Fingers and Heinz 57 for lunch. So delicious, I could not resist eating six more 'fingers' a little later. They weren't as good as the first five, though.
Sloppy Joes and Oven Fries for dinner.
Besides turning me on to the Sloppy Joes, Jessica advised me to dip my old CranCrazies in vino to soften them up. Right she was, again!
Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon.

Yeah! Cookies dipped in wine sounded weird to me at first but it's a great idea. The only drawback is that last sip filled with crumbs ... but maybe with wine (unlike coffee) you don't really care at that point.

Dipping cookies in wine has got to be one of the greatest ideas ever!

I love those Gardein fingers too, and those sloppies look the business!

It's so interesting for me to peek into a world where desserts last more than one day. Does Mr. SV eat your desserts?

Hello, Ladies!!!

Michelle1, by the time Mr. SV took the pic of me holding the cookie in the wine, it was about overnight.

Kimberly, yes, some cookies/biscotti are made for pairing with vino. This was my first time doing so.

Michelle(3?), thanks!

Jessica, I was surprised how the cookies actually enhanced the taste of the wine. Hardly any crumbs came off!

Rose, thanks! There's actually Chocolate Wine out there now, but it's not vegan. One of these days...

Jenny, Mr. SV usually scarfs up the chocolate desserts, so I've been trying to avoid making those. I eat almost all the non-chocolate desserts myself.
