Friday, February 28th

Breakfast arriving at work this morning...
Lunch was at La Sandia, where I requested my Margarita De La Casa with Salt, but they brought it without Salt. No biggie...
Devoured quite a few Chips with Salsa...
as well as Guac made table-side for two....
Mom & I split the Vegetable Fajitas. I specified no cheese or dairy, but they still sprinkled cheese on the Black Beans. Mom scooped it off for herself....
I was dying of thirst by the time I got home...
The rest of  Mr. SVegetarian's Pasta Salad for dinner...
No dessert. Tomorrow is a wild card.

Oh, that Mexican food looks so good. I've been wanting some for a while. Do you and your mom meet for lunch often?

I'm thirsty just reading this post. But really, a salted rim is the only way to go.

I swear I had something snarky to say but then I saw your dog's eyes and my entire soul melted.

Love the dashboard breakfast pic.
No salt on the margarita?!? Total dealbreaker for me. Does la sandia have a watermelon margarita? Or just watermelon-centric decor....?
That tableside guac looks really good, i like it with some texture. Its great your mom will split that with you, and handy since they have problems with details like cheese.

The pup pic is so adorable!!! What a cutie pie!

Fine! I won't play "guess the lunch location" anymore! ;)

Mexican food makes me thirsty, too. It looks like a great spread.

And sweet Molly! I want to cuddle her face!

Hey Now!!!!

Blessed Mama, Pay attention! I meet my mother for lunch every Friday afternoon.

FF, La Sandia was having all kinds of issues yesterday. Just had to keep my mother's awareness of them to a minimum.

Hannah, critter pics are always a good excuse not to leave a cool comment.

Unknown, if I can bite my tongue when there is a piece of bacon in my Bloody Mary, I can keep my mouth closed when there is no Salt on my Margarita. I am strong in that way. No Watermelon Margaritas, alas. Yeah, my mother did good scooping off those queso crumbles.

Ingrid, a quitter never wins and a winner never quits. You gotta play to win. Not that there is anything really to win here.

Yikes, I wasn't even close on the lunch call. It looks great, especially that margarita. I have such a weakness for good chips and salsa too. And guac. Mmm. Annoying about the cheese though.

Love the pup pic!! So sweet!
