Mr. SVegetarian had a bowl of their Vegan Three Bean Chili and recommended I get a bowl to go for later in the week, which I did...
Stir Fried Soba Noodles with Shiitakes and Baby Broccoli for dinner. It was okay, but I see no reason to make it again...
Half an LPQ Matcha Muffin for dessert. Perfectly moist with crunchy top. So glad I got two...
At least Breakfast & Dessert were good.

Thankfully you had one amazing meal to make up for the lack luster dinner. I've made a few of those myself, and considering I'm throwing caution to the wind this week - I might have one of those meals myself! Do you think the scramble is possible for home creation?
As always the LPQ 'fu looks great- so does that chili! Great idea from the Mr there. Too bad the soba didn't turn out, looks good from the pic. Those nytimes healthy recipes are hit or miss.....
Is the matcha muffin new? Haven't seen that before. Does it really taste like tea??
Its snowing on us yet again here.....

So glad you got to LPQ. The breakfast looks absolutely fantastic as always. I love that you add avocado, I feel like it definitely makes the meal next level amazing.
That's such a bummer about dinner because it actually looks really good. I love soba and udon noodle meals. Is there anything that can be done to it to make it better? Is it just bland?
I'm intrigued by the muffin. It looks really yummy. I should trek into the city in the spring and go to LPQ and try this stuff for myself.
I think you should BYOA so you don't' have to pay $2 for half an avo.
MATCHA YES!!!! I had a matcha dessert yesterday too, woot! Not vegan though. So you'd sneer at me.
Hey Now!!!!
Ingrid, what are you going to make?! Unfortunately, I don't think the LPQ Scramble can ever be recreated by the home chef. It's quite the dish of mystery.
Unknown, I'd never seen the LPQ Matcha Muffin before. It does have a good Green Tea flavor. I will definitely buy it again (if available). Our snow is coming Thursday supposedly.
Sarah, I love Soba Noodles as well, that is why I made the recipe. I think I prefer a Soba Noodle recipe made with Peanut Sauce instead. I'll try that kind of recipe next. This was kinda dull. Maybe an LPQ will open on 'The Island' soon.
Abby, my Avocado track record isn't reliable enough for me to bring my own. It's worth the $2 for them to serve me a ripe one.
Hannah, you can't see me but I'm totally sneering at you as I type this.
Le Pain Quotidien, great every time!
