WTF Friday

TJ's Vegan Cream Cheese with Cucumber on a toasted Wegman's Pumpernickel Bagel for breakfast...
A new batch of CSA Soup for lunch...
Leftover Potato Salad for an afternoon snack...
Gardein Riblets with Kohlrabi for dinner...
A couple Blessed Mama Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies for dessert. This was the first one...
For some reason, I'm really digging my own cooking lately. Still, I hope to eat professionally made food tomorrow.

That's so great that you've been enjoying your own cooking!! Everything you've been making from your gorgeous CSA boxes looks incredible. The baked goodies have looked really great too! You've been tearing it up in the kitchen :) And top all of that off with a pumpernickel bagel and you seriously can't go wrong!

I like the look of your cooking, too.

Another great day, and I'm still impressed at your ability to eat soup during hot weather. Unless you are cranking the AC, then I completely understand.

I saw the Gardein products at Target, next time I'm there I'll see how reasonably priced the breakfast items was and perhaps give it a go.

Is the kohlrabi cooked? That's the only way I like it, but Mike loves it cooked or raw. You're really getting some great stuff in the CSA boxes!

I thought of you today while grocery shopping when I almost put some Daiya cream cheese in our cart. I wish I would have now, but I'll try it eventually.

Hey Now!!!

VaVa, joining the CSA has forced me to eat much healthier. The Pumpernickel Bagel sure was tasty, even though I didn't make that.

Hannah, my cooking didn't always look this good. It used to look quite repulsive.

Ingrid, the Soup is eaten after I've been inside for at least an hour in air conditioned comfort. At least we don't have to turn on the oven for it. Super Target, here I come!

RVs, the Kohlrabi was 'braised' for 20 minutes in Earth Balance and Chickenless Chicken Broth. I did buy the Daiya Cream Cheese but haven't opened it yet.
