Tuesday, April 9th

A Lemon Poppyseed Muffin from Roots for breakfast...
White Beans, Chana Masala, Grilled Tofu and Collards from WF's Hot Bar for lunch...
Lightlife Smart Cutlets with TJ's Heirloom Tomatoes and Mac & Cheese from Roots for dinner.
I stocked up on a lot of food from Roots on Saturday since I won't get to go again for a very long time. If ever. Who knows?
So summer came yesterday. Temps are in the mid to upper 80s and, even with the AC on, it is sweltering. What I'm saying is, 'Too hot for dessert tonight'. WFH grub tomorrow.

I have been enjoying every second of this warmth. I'm such a baby about the cold so this 80 degree weather has been glorious ;)

Everything you ate today looks perfect. I LOVE lemon poppyseed muffins, they are SO GOOD. Your dinner looks pretty great too, the mac and cheese looks so creamy and perfect. Great food day!

Stay cool!

Your dinner looks awesome! I don't blame you for wanting to stock up on their food.

It seems as though everyone is warming up except for us. It's still not getting out of the 40's and today only reached 39. Snow expected later this week.... *sigh*

Any flowers blooming by you yet?

The Lemon Poppyseed Muffin looks fresh and delicious. I'm glad you were able to stock up at Roots. I need to get over my fear of judgy hipsters and make it to the all-vegan grocery store in town.

Nice looking meal from Whole Foods.

I'm assuming you're watching DWTS, I've only seen snippets here and there but I know who is participating. Any favorites?

What delicious looking meals. Thanks to climate change we don't really have much of a spring anymore. :-(

Why won't you go to Roots again? Did I miss that?

I really do stop by more often than you know. I just hate leaving comments when I'm on my phone. It's a lot of work. And I'm lazy. Especially when I have to do the code verification thing.

And maybe a post soon. We'll see. I'm a little tired tonight.

Ingrid, I'm not really watching DWTS, but I do fast forward to Sean's parts occasionally. He's awkward but I find myself endeared.

Hey Now!!!

VaVa, I'm the opposite. I hate the heat with a hot hate! Time for you to move south and me to move to Portland.

Molly, we're at peak full bloom currently: Forsythia, Cherry Trees, Hyacinth...

Ingrid, DWTS is pretty good this season. It is a major time drain but it is holding my attention. My favorite was Lisa, but now she's gone,,,

Miss Rachel, is that why there's no spring? It's quite horrible.

Jenny, sorry, I don't know how that code verification thing got set up. I didn't do it. Roots and Great Sage are too far away. It's not worth the time and effort involved. Anyway, I want to get in on the DWTS convo! I'm only watching DWTS for Lisa, Andy & Sean. Now just Andy & Sean...Hope Sean and Catherine stay in it for the long haul.

"I stocked up on a lot of food from Roots on Saturday since I won't get to go again for a very long time. If ever. Who knows?" made me choke with laughter on my peanut butter cheerios. You see, "roots" has a very different colloquial meaning in Australia.

But I do love your eats today, regardless.
