The schmearing gods were not on my side this morning, but breakfast still tasted good.
The other half a quart of Wegman's 'Vegetarian Chili Soup' for lunch. I added Shitakes because I apparently ran out of TVP and didn't know it.Field Roast Franks and Mac & Cheese from Dawson's Market for dinner.
Another third of a piece of Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake from Dawson's Market for dessert.
Cube food tomorrow. Starting with a Blueberry Muffin. Will there actually be Blueberries in it? Tune in to find out.

Thanks for the link in yesterday's post! I might just have to go morel hunting now. Fun! Mike would love to do that, as well. :)
We just had Field Roast franks for lunch yesterday. It's been a long time!
I saw that Daiya is making some cream cheeses now, including a strawberry one. Have you had them at all?
Nice looking bagel nonetheless. Franks & Mac = happiness.
The real question is, where will Shen go for lunch? I hope this breakfast muffin is more satisfactory than last week's.
Breakfast still looks delicious! Very clever to add the mushrooms in the chili, i am a big fan of doctoring up premade soups and such. ( haha, my favorite quick soup i named the "i'm sick and feel like $hit soup" is a can of v8, with chickpeas and spinach heated together and crumbled saltines in it. Random)
Nice choice on the dessert, it looks so dense and fudgy!
Maybe the blueberry muffin is better toasted with a bit of earth balance?

Shitakes in chili - my kind of gal!
I think you did a great job schmearing! Always remember that there is no rhyme or reason to the NY schmear :) So the less perfect the better! Very inventive to add shiitakes to the chili, I bet it was really earthy and nice. Oh man I want some mac and cheese.
Can't wait for the blueberry count ;)
Hey Now!!!!
Molly, of course Mike & The Girls would go Mushroom hunting with you. That was a given. The Daiya Cream Cheese is news to me, I will snatch it up as soon as I see it on the shelves.
Ingrid, the lunch plans are always big when going into the office, but sometimes (like today) I have to just run out real quick to grab something. The Muffin did not disappoint.
Unknown, v8 would probably love to know about your personal soup recipe. Sounds like something passed down from Mom. Unfortunately, there is no toaster oven in our office, but a warm toasted Blueberry Muffin with EB would definitely be incredible.
Blessed Mama, a stash of dried Shitakes is always good to have on hand for jazzing up ho-hum meals.
VaVa, I agree, I'm over thinking the NY Schmear. Trying too hard. I'll try to unclench. The Blueberry count wasn't as high as it should be, but the rest of the Muffin made up for it.
I wish that when you said "cube food", you meant that everything you ate would be a 3D square.
