WTF Thursday

Today I gave up on the Schmearing thing and just applied a massive amount of Cream Cheese to my Bagel. Worked out just as well.
Tofu and Cashews from Faang for lunch.
Gardein Savory Stuffed Turk'y and Roasted Zucchini for dinner.
So after picking the only Morel we found this season and soaking overnight, it was ready for eating...
In preparation, I gently dabbed a little Vegenaisse all over the aforementioned fungi, rolled it in some Cornmeal and baked it in the oven for a few minutes. Mr. SVegetarian let me devour the whole thing since I found it, but I must admit, it wasn't that great. Not sure why. Guess it had been through a lot before my ingesting it.
A piece of a Rice Crispy Type Treat from The Randy Radish for dessert. Really nice and chewy.
A Groupon lunch out with Mom tomorrow. It's at a Sushi place we've never been to before so hopefully things will go smoothly.

And that is how you achieve the perfect schmear!!! The less you care the more authentic it is ;) It's all about being hasty and getting as much cream cheese on in as little time as possible ;)

Lunch looks delicious and hooray for the return of the stuffed turkey gardein thing! I used to love those back in my super gluten days. Too bad the morel wasn't as tasty as you'd hoped it would be. Dessert looks DELICIOUS! Have you ever tried Alicia Silverstone's version? So good!

I wish I could edit from home but unfortunately I answer the phones, schedule appointments and deal with clients so sadly I have to be there. Boo!!

Hopefully the other morels in the area will prove a little more tasty.

I think I just smash the Tofutti on there. It's probably not very pretty, but it's always good on a warm bagel.

My craving for tofu and cashews is all in thanks to you.

The bagel and cream cheese looks so good! I am still craving one but haven't been able to buy a bagel. Your schmear was perfect!

Sorry the morel wasn't that good.

The tofu looked delicious and the dessert looked really good!

Too bad the morel didn't taste that great. Hopefully any others you find are better. I don't think I've ever eaten any of them.

The treat looks really chewy and scrumptious. Oh my!

VaVa, thanks for the re-assurance about my Cream Cheese applying abilities. This was my first Rice Krispy Treat since childhood. I wasn't a fan till yesterday. You must be as charming in person as you are in the internet, so that's why they make you come into the office to deal with the clients.

Ingrid, those Bagels with Cream Cheese go down so fast. Heavenly.
